Owlfeather looked at her apprentice worryingly. "What's wrong? Aren't you glad that Fataldash has become deputy?" Owlfeather was very confused, the naive warrior had no idea why so many cats were hissing and disapproving of the amazing news.

"Why would you assume that?" Phillip muttered back, dismissing the fact that she was joking. He glanced from Leapordheart to Cloverpaw, who both seemed quite anxious about the choice. Glancing around the whole clan, everyone seemed nervous or displeased. Had the deputy stolen their prey or something?

Cloverpaw looked at Owlfeather, she felt horrible that her mentor barely noticed the cruel appearance of Fataldash," Nothing!" She mewed quickly, she was frightened to oppose, she got to her paws quickly," just tired." She let a small laugh escape as she turned to go to the apprentices den

She cleared her throat; and continued again,
"I Cloverstar, leader of PineClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice.
They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and
I commend her to you as a warrior in their turn.
Sunpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan,
even at the cost of your life?" She questions her.

Cloverpaw turned as she heard a warrior ceremony for her and Sunpaw, she blinked, wanting to keep shrinking away.

Sunpaw dazed up at Cloverstar, her eyes shined and she smiled," I do!" Sunpaw mewed happily, she sat straight and proudly.

Cloverpaw couldn't bring herself to say the same words as her sister.

Owlfeather yowls in joy. She saw that Cloverpaw was silent. What's wrong with her? Owlfeather thinks, panicking.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Sunpaw,
from this point on you will be know as Sunstorm. StarClan honors your bravery
and intelligence, and we welcome you as a full warrior of PineClan." She said resting her
muzzle on Sunpaw's head.

"You change names, too? How do you relearn them all?" Phillip mumbled aloud, but to no one in particular. His tail flickered, watching the ceremony in confused silence.
