" The fox held me to the ground, but I pushed it off," he continued for the kits. He nudged BirchFlight enough so she would have to step back a few steps.

He bent down and carefully grabbed FallingFeather by her scruff. The deputy pulled her body out of the bushes and below the HighRock. He could feel tears growing in his eyes. He lowered his head and placed her under the HighRock. The deputy raised a paw and rubbed his eyes.

Ace trotted over to the highrock and sat foxlenghts away from it. He sat silently in respect and listened to the leaders words. He caught the sight of Fallingfeather and Oakscar by the highrocks but quickly returned his attention to Pinestar.
