{Sorry for the terrible response - I am exhausted ;v;}
"Cactusfoot was aptly named," Spottedpaw said, burst into raucous laughter before rolling her golden eyes. Pushing by cats, the tall molly followed her friend, almost tempted to grab her elegant tail as it swayed in the wind- but, deciding Flarepaw had enough going on, she shoved away the mischevious thought. As soon as those thoughts dissipated, she caught bits of wording suggesting a rogue had stolen their prey. How outrageous! Pelt prickling at the thought, the golden molly released a soft growl. "Another one?! Is this an invasion?" the apprentice huffed, a bit loudly, before following after Flarepaw and finally arriving at the pile. For a second, she contemplated on whether or not to get some breakfast. Noting at how... small the pile seemed, she decided against it, and focused on the petite molly beside her to ward off her hungry. "Gosh, they eat a lot - even more than the warriors," Spottedpaw mused, before nodding her head in agreement. "Sounds like a plan." Letting Flarepaw take the lead again, she focused her gaze on the sky. It was hot - whisker roasting hot. Wonder how many cats will be going to Softberry for burns, the golden molly thought, shaking her head a bit in disgust before padding after Flarepaw. "Think that today's a good day for Cactusfoot?" Spottedpaw mewed, albeit too loudly again - her golden eyes were roving the dusty terrain, as if expecting another rogue to appear.

Batpaw flickered his namesake ears. Now you stop snacking? You should finish that prey - many rogues would kill for a morsel like that. The ebony tom, needless to say, was in one of his more... pessimistic moods. Regardless, he could feel the blood coursing through his veins as the massive tabby began to approach him - although he couldn't see, he could feel Hawkcry's scrutnizing gaze upon him. Narrowing his filmy turquoise eyes ever so slightly, the petite tom shifted slightly, listening to the warriors words. Ending a fight? Temporarily distracted by those words, Batpaw's whiskers twitched ever so subtly - then, he heard the battle cry, the lurch, and knew what was happening. But, unfortunately, he didn't have any time to react - a repeat of what happened oh-so often.
Batpaw hit the ground a lot harder than he cared to admit. Pain surged through his head and previously injured left hindquarter - a slight hiss escaped him, followed by a gasp due to the air being knocked from his lungs. Then, he heard Hawkcry's words. Easy peasy? Narrowing his filmy eyes, he gathered his hindlegs beneath him. Alright then. Although he was still a bit dazed fro the unexpected attack, he lashed out with his long, powerful legs, striking Hawkcry hard in the stomach and racking down. Although his claws were sheathed also, the ebony tom was sure it would hurt - his paw pads weren't exactly soft, and he hadn't struck lightly. I"m learning fight-ending moves... execution moves. That excitement surged again. You won't get the better of me yet, Hawkcry. Even with a surprise attack. Perking his namesake ears, Batpaw jumped to his feet, his breath regained - enough. Lunging for Hawkcry, he slammed into the larger warrior while he was off-balance. Belly rake, huh? Hm... that's something that is rather easy for me to do, if I learn to calculate right - usually it's used while your own your back, belly exposed so it's easy to tell where my opponent will strike...

Mistcloud blinked open his jade eyes, and yawned - standing up slowly, the older warrior stretched his limbs, taking care to stretch out his left permanently injured left hindquarter. The tendons creaked - a bit stiff, but none worse for the wear, considering how old he was and how long it had been injured. Licking his whiskers, the large male slowly padded out of his den, closing his eyes in pleasure as a slight drizzle washed over his face. "Ah, such a marvelous day this is - it isn't often we get rain. So under appreciated this small break is," the older warrior said with a soft sigh, opening his maw and letting a few drops land on his tongue. If this increases, it could be a marvelous break from the intense heat. But, if it keeps raining, then we need to move the prey. Turning his gaze upon the prey pile, he noted there were a crowd of cats then. Narrowing his eyes, he let his bright gaze survey the camp. They came to a rest upon the massive Jackalhowl.
A massive, capable warrior squished in a bush mewling like a kit. Mistcloud's eyes widened slightly, before a small smile crossed his maw. Padding over, the lithe tom sat. "Good day, Jackalhowl." A pause. "Not enjoying the change of weather, hmm?" Sympathy radiated in Mistcloud's gaze, and he shook his head ever so slightly. Very capable he is. Massive - that strength is a phenomenal weapon in battle. Capable, reliable. Yet terrified of the rain, and very shy. But, with all of this recent chaos, I don't blame him. If he does cheer up soon, I'm going to have to challenge him.

Snow glanced at Mossleap, then chuckled. "Perhaps not," the older tom said, not moving from his position at the medicine cat's den. "But, you didn't have it before you came here," the pearl tom stated plainly, licking his paw and swiping it upon his matted coat. Upon discovering it was mutilated, caked and simply atrocious, a small, pouty frown appeared on his face, even more disarming than his smile. "My, I do hope this comes off nicely," Snow said in that honeyed tone, before lifting his gaze to Mossleap's retreating figure. My mirage will last a bit longer. "I cannot leave yet, dear," Snow said, closing his baby blue eyes and enjoying the slight dampness that the cool breeze carried his way. After a second, a silky purr escaped him. "Mossleap ordered that I bathe before I depart. The oasis is currently occupied - wouldn't want to go bathe no and cause a commotion, would we?" Lifting a claw, the older rogue motioned for Mossleap to sit next to him, a slightly amused look crossing his maw.
