"Thanks." Nightwing said before taking a bite of the squirrel and swallowing the meat. Lowering her head she then nudged the squirrel towards Junipershadow, her right ear flicking as she listened to her surroundings, a sign of her all-time alertness which remained with her from her days as a loner.

"Nice scare, Sandkit." The she-cat mewed in the same tone of voice as Sandstripe. Wrenstar glanced back towards camp and let out a quiet sigh, "On second thought, we probably should head back to camp. Unfortunately, I have decisions to make." The leader glanced back towards the tom, and began to dig back up the rabbit they had caught moments before.

rainnose turned towards feathermist as she spoke again, and then darted off into the forest. after a split second, he darted after her a grin spread across his muzzle. the wind rushed through his fur and his paws pounded on the dirt as he slowly advanced on the she-cat.

junipershadow waited until the squirrel was pushed back to him and then took a bite. he chewed and swallowed before pushing the squirrel slightly back in nightwing's direction. "so, how are you?" he asked.

Stonepaw grinned at the she-cat. "Oh isn't it a beautiful day." He mewed, exaggerating a bit, "I think I'm just going to sit right here and enjoy it all." The tom sat down right at the apprentice's den entrance, angling his head towards the sky, but glancing back at ravenpaw out of the corner of his eye.

Alderpaw lifted her head up and grinned a smile filled with pride for herself. "Thank you." She mewed to her mentor. "I still have more to work on though." [ wb ]

Feathermist kept running and soon approached a fallen log that she jumped on with ease. After jumping off, she continued her sprint, her paws leaving behind a small trail of stirred dust in the air from the dry ground.

rainnose was so focused on feathermist jumping over the log, that he didn't notice that same log coming up towards him. he glanced forward just as the log was about a mouse-length in front of him. he breathed in sharply and jumped immediately. as he leaped, his hind paws got caught on a part of the log, and he tumbled onto the ground. "ouch." he murmured to himself, pushing himself up to standing position again. great job, rainnose.

"I've been pretty good. I mean, I've had pretty good luck the past few days." He paused to take a bite of the squirrel and pass it back. "atleast nothing has happened, like a major disaster."

the silvery molly shook her head. she flicked Midnightpaw on the nose with her tail before exiting the camp, ears pricked. she enjoyed taking walks by herself, with no company except for the chirping of the birds and the faint rustlings of the flora. her apprentice was helpful, sure, but she needed to learn to become more independent. checking the stocks was the first thing Swanfeather had taught the orange tabby, but apparently the molly still needed practice. "i hope she knows what poppy seed looks like. we don't need foxglove inside the medicine den," she fretted, eyes worried.

Stormspirit twitched his dusky gray ears, eyes traveling from place to place with no apparent destination. the tom sat idly in camp, under the shade of a leafy green tree. for the past few days everything had been quiet. he'd gone out to hunt a few times, but otherwise was invisible in the eyes of his clanmates. he spotted Swanfeather coming out of her den-- she probably wouldn't talk to him either. sighing, he lowered his head onto his paws, tail flicking with impatience.

@Tauriel: sorry for the short response-- i'd appreciate it if you could write a bit more than 13 words next time, that way i have something to go off of. ^^'

I nodded and watched her leave camp.Frowning I walked towards the fresh-kill pile.I picked out a small mouse and started eating.When I finished I looked up and saw a she-cat go into the nursery with Rainnose.They were both carrying kits.I wondered who the she-cat was and why she was in the clan.

dust clouded up against the tom's muzzle from his landing, causing him to cough a few times before answering. "yeah, I'm fine." the tom mewed. he shook out his pelt, sending dust out flying everywhere. he put pressure on each of his paws against the ground, none of them causing any pain to him until he got to his left hind paw. every time he put a slight pressure on it, he would feel an aching pain, causing him to wince slightly. no big deal, it's probably just bruised. he thought.
