I looked at the Silver furred kit and thought of a name for her."I'll call you Frost," I said quietly to myself.I looked at the Tom with the black fur while I thought of a good name for him."Shade" I said quietly.I looked at the orange kit "Blaze" I said to myself as I thought of names for the 2 females.

Nightwing trotted into camp, her blue eyes scanning the camp to see who was around. She stopped beside the warriors den and sat down, her tail curling around her front paws. She was slightly out of breath from having ran around the perimeter of half of the clan's territory since the morning. She did the patrols a little differently than the others.

"Nice scare, Sandkit." The she-cat mewed in the same tone of voice as Sandstripe. Wrenstar glanced back towards camp and let out a quiet sigh, "On second thought, we probably should head back to camp. Unfortunately, I have decisions to make." The leader glanced back towards the tom, and began to dig back up the rabbit they had caught moments before.

"I hope that too." Jackalflight mewed, the tip of her tail beginning to twitch slightly at the memory of her nightmares. "Anyway, forgetting that topic. How have you been lately?" She asked, attempting to change the subject. [ wb ]

Rainnose nodded with agreement. "The mother put up a bit of a fuss though. I felt like I nearly forced her to come back to camp, well it was either that or leave the territory and I don't think her or her kits were in any state to do that." The tom once again glanced towards the nursery for a second before focusing back on Feathermist. "She said she didn't want her and her kits to stay very long though, just until her kits are old enough to walk on their own." He shrugged slightly, "I don't know, maybe she'll change her mind by then, and we'll have new apprentices."

After a bit, Junipershadow returned to camp with his couple pieces of prey hanging from his jaws. The tom padded over to the fresh-kill pile and set the pieces of prey down along with the rest.

Stonepaw grinned at the she-cat. "Oh isn't it a beautiful day." He mewed, exaggerating a bit, "I think I'm just going to sit right here and enjoy it all." The tom sat down right at the apprentice's den entrance, angling his head towards the sky, but glancing back at ravenpaw out of the corner of his eye.

Alderpaw lifted her head up and grinned a smile filled with pride for herself. "Thank you." She mewed to her mentor. "I still have more to work on though." [ wb ]

I heard a few cats talking outside the nursery and swivelled my ears towards the sound without looking away from my kits.Are they talking about me?
