Matthew looked over his shoulder to see the pups. He smiled slightly and then turned back to Eternity. He stayed wuite and closed his eyes.

Thoughts swired in her mind, some consumed her, some faught each other, then the dizzyness, the horrid dizziness would be present, she ignored it, building a mental wall around it, but still it was present.

Matthew took a quick drink of water from the river and then looked at the pups again. "You guys ok?" he shouted to them.

"Yeah, we're ok" Night replied, the three pups trotted over to him, tails still wagging.

Eternity was still laying there, listening to the currents of the river.

"Come here and take a seat." said Matthew, pushing the gun away so that there was space for the pups beside him.

The three pups sat down and looked at him.

Eternity had fallen asleep she was dreaming about fighting, she whined softly, and pawed at the air.

"you must think I'm the worst wolf in the world right now." said Matthew.

"No not really" night said simply.

Matthew smiled. "Thanks. But, about Ali..."

"..." the silence echoed from the pups as they listened to what he had to say.


Eternity woke up with a start, she went to the river and lapped up some water, trying to get rid of the foul taste in her mouth "Yek" she growled to herself "... may be I have caught something" she sighed, she hated being ill.
