"Thank you" she said with a sweet smile, she ript at the fleshy hare.

Matthew took a couple of bites off of his hare and then stopped. "I'm not hungry." he said. "You three can have the rest." he said, pushing the rest of the hare to the pups.

"Thank you" the three thanked him.

"No problem." said Matthew. He looked at Eternity. "You alright?"

"As alright as you can get at a time like this" Eternity replied.

Matthew wrapped his tail around Eternity's. "Well, lets just make the best of it before the good times go away."

She rested her cheek against his, and purred softly.

Matthew smiled and licked Eternity's cheek. "I love you."

Eternity smiled and licked him back "I love you too" she whispered softly.

Matthew smiled. "You know, I just realised something."
