He shook his thick fur as he wandered through the forest, stopping as he caught the scent of Tigertail and another very familiar cat... "Echo..." He murmured as he slowly padded towards them, just in time to see Tigertail run off. "Stupid kittypet." He growled to himself, before looking at Echo. "Hello, beautiful." He purred out, louder so he can be heard.

Tawnypaw
She pinned her ears, trying to blink away tears as she laid down next to Meadowkit. She turned as Tigertail ran in, before slowly shaking her head. "Tigertail... I don't know if she'll pull through..." She mewed sadly, "Her fate lies with Starclan..."

Cherryflight
She sat next to Tawnypaw, before heaving a deep sigh. She glanced at the calico beside her, before looking at the white cat laying down. "Come on Meadowkit..." She mewed, before smiling. "You can do this, I believe in you, as does everyone else."

Ebonystar
He slowly padded out of his den, glancing into the medicine cat's den. For a moment, he could have sworn he saw one of his former mentors, but when he blinked she was gone. He couldn't help but smile as he left the camp, knowing that the old she-cat would refuse to let herself be forgotten as he padded towards the lake.

Blossom

Blossom laid her head down tears stained her fur. She forced her eyes shut and went to sleep peacefully at the edge of the lake. She seemed to be sleeping here more often. It comforted her. The water and the birds chirping. It was peaceful and the only thing that could really relax her. Cherryflight. I know you can help meadowkit. She doesn't deserve this. She thought before her mind set into a dream.

Meadowkit

She breathing eased a bit after she fell asleep. She still wailed softly but it hushed after a few ours. Until she was silent. She didn't want to wake up. It hurt to much. But she didn't want to sleep. Because all she saw in her sleep was the moment she got hit, over and over. A repeating nightmare. " I dont want to give up." She moaned in her head. "but my body is telling me to." Her head spun. She had the will to live but her body was lacking in support. But she wasn't giving up without a fight. Her heartbeat slightly slowed down. It became abnormally slow. But it never stopped. Her body have given up. But she still had faith. She fought for her life. She wanted to see tigertail again. And her smile. She couldn't end now. Cherryflight she thought. " why does it hurt this much." She meowed.

"ash! I've been looking for you!" She proclaimed with excitement. " what have you been up to?" She purred.

Ebonystar
The black tom finally made it to the lake, before looking to towards the waterfall. He sighed deeply before laying down, not noticing Blossom nearby as he stared into the water. "Everything seems to be going downhill..." He muttered to himself, using a paw to lightly hit the water. "This prophecy is hanging over us, foxes are nearby... one of our kits was hit by a car... What else will happen?" He just continued to stare at his reflection.

Cherryflight
Her ears twitched, before laying down near Meadowkit. "Your body may not recover..." She meowed, before pinning her ears. "Most cats do not survive being hit by a Monster, you're more fortunate... or, unfortunate as you might think... Medicine cat experience alone might not help."

Shorty
The little kit tried to purr as her new friend out his tail around her. This wasn't her momma, but she already liked this cat. She looked up at him and blinked her big, black eyes and smiled, showing tiny white teeth.


Halfface
He knew what had happened and padded out of can on a hunt. He figured that the other cats would alert to anything new happening, but he also knew that they needed food. He caught the scent of a squirrel and followed it until he came across Ebonystar's scent. He followed it until he came to his leader. He stopped a few paw lengths away, and waited until the big black cat noticed him.

Mudstep
His whiskers twitched with amusement as the kit smiled. "You're certainly fearsome with those little teeth, aren't you?" He mewed, little out a small purr before smiling. "Are you able to say your name yet, little one?" He asked, curious if she had a warrior's name or if it was like a rogue's name.

Ebonystar
He continued to stare at his reflection, until he heard pawsteps behind him. After a small moment, prepared for an attack, Ebonystar visibly relaxed before motioning with his tail. He turned his head slightly to see which cat had walked up, and looking at Halfface. "Evening, Halfface." He mewed quietly.

Shorty
"Shorty..." The short legged kit mewed slowly as if saying it for the first time. She waived her short legs for him to see and laughed as she rolled in her back and wiggled.

Halfface
Halfface nodded as he got to his paws and padded over to his leader. " so much has happened, so recently. I fear nothing good will come. I'm worried." he mewed as he looked at Ebonystar for guidance.

Blossom

Her breaths drew in and out like whispers although she was completely healthy her mind was as so lucky. The she-cat stayed in slumber besides the lake. Her nose was barely touching the water. Her tail was curled beside her neatly.

Meadowkit

"what do you mean. They said they can't do much for me. Am I going to die?" She meowed and slightly reverted to a whisper at the end.
