sandpaw woke up, as a warm breeze ruffled her fur. the apprentice yawned and stretched. sandpaw felt warm, moist weather as she decided she needed to interact with other cats. sandpaw padded out sleepily, she had not gotten good sleep last night. sandpaw sat down and groomed herself, keeping an eye on the dens.

Saptail saw Sandpaw walking around," Wait a moment, little one! My bedding needs to be changed and I have ticks! Come help!"

Every fur on his pelt jumped up as he stumbled from the kit's surprise attack. He turned around in panic. When Thistlepatch saw the kit he mewled, "Of course! You scared the dirt out of me!". He then nipped at the kit's ear playfully.
