Vitastar looked at Glassfoot then at Foxleap. She looked down and twitched her tail. She heard a Monster squeal with anger near the Thunderpath. Vitastar jumped up and bounded to the Thunderpath and couldn't believe her eyes. Spottedflare was lying there dead.

Glassfoot fell down in defeat. She walked in the warrior's den with her head down. More sorrow flooded her mind she curled up on her nest and closed her eyes.
