Kitestar watched her from the tree she was in, bunching up her muscles and leaping from tree to tree in a diagonal pattern until she was leaping straight at Hawkstar. She broke cover right before she would hit, her claws outstretched.

[Keriae]

(Let her get hit, okay?)

Hawkstar had pricked her ears and heard her rival over the screaming of fighting warriors. He crouched down, then leaped.

[Solanum]

(( Yeah. She will be. Don't worry. She isn't immortal/indestructible ))

Kitestar was already in mid leap, so she couldn't stop. Hawkstar's paw connected with her face, pushing her backwards. She hissed, righting herself again. Once she was stable once again, she put her paw up to her face, staring at the blood that came off of it. "You'll pay for that, Hawkstar of Shadowclan."

[Keriae]

Hawkstar didn't listen, she was stalking around Kitestar, as if she was prey. No mercy. Don't show any mercy to your enemy. They won't show it to you. You must kill them slowly and painfully. A voice whispered in her head, and she grinned evily, her eyes flashing like fire.

[Solanum]

Kitestar leapt at Hawkstar in a manner much unlike her usual way of attacking. She hissed as she slashed at Hawkstar, although anger clouded her eyes so she had no idea where she was attacking... Could be anywhere.

[Keriae]

Hawkstar struggled to dodge Kitestar's blows, and winced when claws connected with her stomach. She took a defensice position, and slipped under the other leader, hoping she wouldn't notice.

[Solanum]

Kitestar noticed, but not as quickly as she should have. She snapped herself out of her anger, calming down, her fur flattening once again. She looked around for Hawkstar, frowning. "Let me guess, you're behind me..."

[Keriae]

Hawkstar smiled. Ah, no she wasn't. She was underneath Kitestar. She jumped upwards, and twisted, clawing Kitestar's leg.

[Solanum]

Kitestar fought back a mew as the pain washed through her. She spun round, one set of claws aiming for Hawkstar's face, the other her side to try and stop her from escaping. How come Hawkstar's warriors hadn't gone yet? She had told them to, but Kite knew that they hadn't followed the order. Otherwise she would be hearing her own warriors by now. What was taking them so long?

[Keriae]

Hawkstar ducked one paw and was hit by the other. She was really annoyed by now. Her warriors weren't fighting, and she was loosing. She head butted Kitestar's stomach.

Ravenshadow ran into battle and hit a ThunderClan warrior. She growled and unsheathed her claws.

Venompaw followed his mother and was soon locked in battle with a ThunderClan apprentice.
