Due to the fire there are no rivalry because so many cats just lost their home, a few lost their mother, and some tried to kill themselves." Flakeshadow explained still remaining calm. "If you were nice then you would also help in the aid. Just because they are rouges doesn't mean they are different. We have the same ancestor and are the same species." He explained into further detail as he sat down. The Norwegian male then looked at the ground remembering where he was a rouge as a kit with his brother. All he knew is that probably Mathias was the closest cat he could be with due to everyone else he knew and loved left him. Heck even his own little brother got a mate before he did which just angered Flakeshadow even more.

Icestorm wasn't sure how to respond. Nobody ever cared for me when I was in trouble. The rouges I saw just left. Why should I help rouges now? he thought. "What have they ever done for us? You know, besides kill one of us and threaten to kill the rest of us. Yeah, they deserve our help." He mewed sarcastically. As a kit he had never learned anything about giving kindness to the enemy. He thought you were either with him or against him. There was no in between. Flakeshadow can't be serious. he thought. They killed one of us. Why should we help them? "Give me one good reason why they deserve our help. And none of this kin or same species stuff because I've seen brother turn on brother."

"Simple. Some of the rouges are still deciding if they should fight with their brothers or join our side. If we can show that we are nice then we will have a better chance in getting those neutral rouges to join us. I've heard that once they are ok a side they are forever loyal unless they get a better reason to join the opposing side." Flakeshadow explained.

"So we can win them over by showing them we are the right side." Icestorm said quietly. "And you think that will work?" He asked in a calm tone. So we have to win them over? he thought.

Graypelts eyes opened with a shot when she heard Alfred screaming, she troubled off Jags back and swam across the river with her last strength making her way to Alfred as fast as possible "Alfred im here im here" she mewed and collapsed laying her head over his shoulder and started crying "How could I be so ignorant why did all this happen" she thought letting the tears stream down

The Maine Coon felt weight on his shoulder and opened his eyes to see Graypelt. Alfred turned a bit and wrapped his paws around her giving her a hug happy she was here beside him. He still couldn't speak but the purrs he was giving out to her were enough. He didn't show her the side of his face that was badly scraped up or he tried to.

Jag watched the she cat swim and he dashed over the rocks not knowing what to do untill he saw the she cat go over to that annoying American. He let her seeing that she was making the Maine Coon calm down.

Graypelt licked Alfreds shoulder "Im sorry I left you alone, im so sorry" she meowed letting out a low purr happy that the stranger tom had saved her in the last minute and brought her back into reality

Goldenheart opened her eyes streaching her body "That was a great nap" she mumbeled for herself looking around, and her heart skipped a beat "Im all alone where did Jag go what should I do" she said to her self really quicky so she barley understood it herself

Alfred gave his mate a friendly smile and pulled her even closer. He wanted to say it was okay and that he will always love her despite if they didn't see each other much by he couldn't. He gave out a small trill in happiness before giving her a swift luck on the forehead. Jag looked down at the cat couple before padding away wishing he and Mapleleaf could of been like that. Why did he have to fall for a damn medicine cat? Eventually he spot Goldenheart again and dashed over.

Graypelt nuzzeled Alfred and purred just wanting the moment to last forever, she ignored all the cats around them why should she care about them she didn't even know who they were

Goldenheart spotted Jag running towards her, she dashed to greet him and nuzzeled him "Dont ever leave me like that again, i was so scared" she meowed in a slightly paniced voice starting to calm down a bit
