Red nodded and started toward the she-cat before her attention snapped over to Alfred. She dropped the squirrel and jumped into the river, hating water but she would put up with it for now. She had a bad habit of not thinking before she acted or spoke and she quickly regretted not thinking ahead. She gave a yowl before her head went below the water. She swam toward Alfred and grabbed on to his scruff and started pulling toward the land, the current dragging them away from the cats.

Clovertail and Skyblaze ran down the side of the bank after being waken by the yowl. Skyblaze grabbed onto a rock with his front paws and let Clovertail grab onto his tail with her jaw as she reached for Red and Alfred, catching Red's tail with her claws.

The American felt something grab onto his scruff but he was more worried about the side of his face then being saved. How could he of fallen in when he was supposed to be the hero and or these other cats. The Maine Coon just would let fate take care of all this mess and if he was saved he would go along with it and if they lost their grip....

Skyblaze heaved them in slowly and Clovertail started helping once she got a grip. They dragged the two cats out of the water slowly.

Red finally let go of Alfred's scruff once they were safe. "Are you okay?" She asked after coughing a couple of times. At least none of us are dead. she thought.

The American couldn't speak. All he knew was half of his face was bleeding and his jaw hurted like hell. He gave a groan in pain and his instinct was to curl up and hide. He help his paw to the side of his face that was scraped and pulled his paw away to reveal some blood on it. Alfred decided to hide it up knowing that he would either not really speak well again or have a huge scar. If lucky it may heal.

Skyblaze looked at the tom. "I'll go get Tinyfrost and Jadepaw." He said before rushing off.

Red sat there in silence as she looked at Alfred. That looks painful. she thought. She couldn't see very clearly in the dark but she could see the blood on his jaw. What now? she wondered as she looked at the other she-cat that helped them.

Clovertail shrugged. I should go get something to eat as we are probably all hungry, but I don't think I can trust them not to fall in again. she thought, not realizing she had narrowed her eyes as she looked at the water. Is this really what I'm mad about? she thought as she swallowed. No, it's Bluewater. I hate liking somebody and not knowing if they really like you back, or if they are just saying that. she thought as she looked up at the stars.

Graypelt gave off coughs "Just let me go" ge mewed walking through the burnt down forest before she passed out

Goldenheart sat down and let out a yawn "Well I will be heading to sleep, night Jag" she meowed and curled up, "Jag is such a nice cat" she thought "Very handsome aswell" her mind continued before she shook her head to get all thoughts away and fell asleep

Bluewater padded to the warriors den "Clovertail is still away" he mumbeled worried about her "Did I do something wrong so she keeps away?" He added getting to his nest

The Maine Coon's condition only got worse as the pain increased. He couldn't take it any longer and gave a loud wail of distress and pain. Soon he was wailing and trashing around trying to get the pain away. That's all Alfred wanted, well one of the two thing. One he wanted the pain to ease and the other.... That his mate would be here to comfort him.

"Good night." He meowed before he decided to also give saving a try. Maybe that would make cats think nicer of him and that his caring is indeed good. With that the Dutch leaped over the rocks and dashed into the forest. He sniffed the air trying to catch a small whiff of a scent. Padding around for a few minutes it eventually it came. Blindly he made his way to where the scent lead to and saw a she cat on the ground. Padding over he managed to get the she cat on his back and paced out of the forest.

Clovertail realized she and Skyblaze never told Silverstar where they were going. She heard the bushes shake and turned, expecting to see Skyblaze. A fox stepped out of the bushes with a snarl. Fox! she thought, her eyes wide and near panic. She heard a fox's call behind her and her head swirled around, only to see Rebel.

Rebel barked at the fox once again, confusing it. This is one thing I know. she thought as she puffed out her chest. "More of us here. Get away or be killed." She barked at the fox. The fox seemed as if it didn't care, it only wanted an easy meal.

Skyblaze heard barking and raced through the bushes, Jadepaw on his tail. He barreled into the fox with a loud yowl and startled it. Red and Clovertail growled at the fox with their claws unsheathed, and the fox ran away as it was badly outnumbered.

Clovertail turned to Rebel. "What was that!?" She asked, confused. "You can speak to foxes?" She questioned, eyes narrowed. "Uh, I don't know that much." Rebel said slowly. "Just enough to hold them back a bit." She added.

Jadepaw walked over to Alfred, afraid to get too close to the thrashing cat. She took a deep breath before calling Rebel over. "I need for him to sit still. Try calming him down while I go get herbs to give him." She ordered.

Rebel nodded slowly and looked at Alfred as Jadepaw left. "Look um calm down." She said, not sure how to really get him to calm down. "That cat seems to know what she is doing.." She said.
