Amandine couldn't control herself and she shot out of the hollow log, hitting Mathias hard. She had her claws extended and eyes narrowed. "Traitor!" She spat.

Mathias' head slammed against the hallow log when he was slapped. The Dane looked over at the she cat with a sad and surprised looked on his face. "I didn't mean it. That guy is apart of my alliance and I can never let him get hurt." His sky blue eyes glossy before he turned around trying not to cry. He gave a wail into the sky and raced off to hide somewhere. He raced back to the Norwegian and nuzzled him wanting to stay by his side now. "Don't leave me okay?" Mathias whimpered. "I'll try not too." Flakeshadow meowed bringing the crying Dane closer to him.

"No you need it more then I do. Your the one having the kits, not me." Romeo meowed as he pushed the prey closer to her.

Amandine teared up. If he is more important to you then me, then I don't care. she lied to herself. She turned and started running in the direction of the rouge group before stopping. He was my only friend there. she thought before looking around, wondering what she would do next. I shouldn't feel bad, he's the one who should be sorry for what he did. she told herself as she clenched her eyes shut. What am I going to do now? she thought, feeling hurt. This is why you should have never opened up to cats. If you had stayed to yourself you wouldn't be hurt now. she yelled at herself in her mind. "Then I'll never accept a cat into my life again." She growled into the rain with tears in her eyes. "Are you happy now!?" She screamed off into the air as the sun set.

"What even happened back there?" Flakeshadow asked. "She slapped me and called me a traitor. I don't care what she has to say all I just need is to protect my alliance. Really the real thing is that everyone is a traitor." Mathias whimpered resting beside the Norwegian. The other male ms gaze softened before he laid down beside him. "Not me." Flakeshadow meowed. He then heard a rustling and both males looked over to see their Finnish friend. "Didn't mean to interrupt. I just heard some yowling and decided to check who it was from." He meowed nervously. "No it's fine. You can lay with us." Flakeshadow meowed giving a small smile. Tino thought for a bit before padding over and laying beside the Norwegian.

"I can always get more. Please, ladies first." Romeo begged backing away saying that he was perfectly okay with it.

Amandine looked at her paws. She got up and ran to where Mathias had run off to. She went silently through the bushes and narrowed her eyes as she saw Tino there as well. What? she thought, confused. She stepped out of the bushes and glared at the toms. "Tino I thought you at least were loyal to the group." She said. "But maybe not." She said, not waiting for an answer. "Do you think Ludwig would be happy about any of this?" She questioned with a growl. "I thought you were my friend Mathias, what happened to that?" she asked, hurt showing in her eyes but she kept her gaze narrowed.

Tino looked back at Amandine and smirked, "I'm not in the rouge band anymore. I'm a neutral beside the love of my life." He gave her a sly smirk before he tried to calm Mathias down. "Can you leave us alone for a bit? Your only making the poor Dane feel even more guilty. He's probably torn between two choices, keeping you happy and keeping his alliance safe. A king can't please everyone." Flakeshadow meowed calmly at Amandine before he groomed Mathias with a small purr. Mathias looked up at Amandine with his face wet from his sobbing and with regretful wide blue eyes showing fear and guilt.

"If you hesitate choosing between them and me, choose them." Amandine told Mathias. "I don't want to spend the rest of my life with somebody who will wonder if they made the right choice." She said before walking away. Tear were building up in her eyes so she started running, hoping nobody would see her cry. She ran into the hollow log she was in earlier and closed her eyes, not even bothering to dry her soaking fur. She opened her eyes and looked out at the rain pouring down. Must be nice to be free. she thought. Being able to forget would be the best thing ever. she thought as she lay down.

Mathias was taken back before he yelled in a pleading way, "No don't go! I need you in my life." It was no use for he assumed that she hated him. The Dane rested his head against Flakeshadow's chest before he cried again softly. "You did the best you could do Mathias." Tino meowed as he nuzzled him.
