Welcome to my humble kit adoption center! I am Frostwing the owner of this adoption center, if I have heard correctly, your a cat wanting a kit for your clan right? Good, it's very kind of you to come, many of these kits have been through a lot, being kicked out their clan, abandoned to fend for themselves because of a disability, being terribly lost, it's been rough for them, some have even been here long enough to be an apprentice. But I will not let you adopt unless you can gain the little kit you want's trust, the kit has to be happy when he/she is adopted after all, but I know you will find a way, you seem to be a kind-hearted cat. Ah yes, one more thing if you wish to work here and take care of the kits please let me know and I will definitely take that into consideration as an old cat like me can't handle so many kits at once and I can't bear to see any be casted out again. We also very rarely get special kits with very special abilities, they just show up mysteriously in a falling star in front of my adoption center in the heart of the night! What a sight it is! I hope you may be able to adopt one once one to two show up!

Adopting:
Ah, so you wish to know how it works? Very well, the goal of this RP as I said before, is to gain the trust of a kit before you are allowed to completely adopt the kit, what many do with the new kit they adopted is taking it to their RP clan and have it live there and thrive, some even try to come here and steal our poor little kits for their own clans, terrible cats those are. But you probably want to know how you gain the trust of a kit correct?
Well, the first thing you must know is how the difficulty scale works, it one of the symbols that will show up next the a kit that is adoptable that represents how hard it is to adopt, there are 6 levels to this scale: No Effort, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Impossible, it can vary for why that kit is so hard to gain the trust of from being extremely quiet to very angry
the only clues the the reasons for them being difficult to adopt will be in the Personality key, another symbol that will show next to an adoptable kit, it represents the general personality of a kit there are many different ranges of personality that a kit can have, some even having unique and uncommon personalities though the most common are: Active, Angry, Quiet, Playful, Curious, Frightened, Lazy, and Mischievous, most kits will have more than one personality trait next to them.
And how do you know if your kit is starting to bond with you? That is when the feeling key comes in! The feeling meter, represented as a symbol will show up next to a kit that a cat has been approved to attempt to adopt, it represents how the kit feels about that cat, all kits will start at the same feeling meter stage: I Really don't like you!!! Go away! But as you interact with the kit, you make make progress on the feeling meter until you get all the way up to the meter stage: I fully trust you! Will you adopt me? Then you can adopt the kit since it fully trusts you!
Different symbols may also show up next to a kit representing different things such as a disability or the fact that a kit has siblings.
You also have the choice of gaining RP control over the kit you have adopted or having the person who RPed the kit go with you to you clan and the kit will continue to be RPed by the person who originally RPed that kit to be adopted! Though, if a staff user is RPing that it, they must agree as well that they want to this though.
That's all you need to know about adopting!
Becoming a Staff Member
Another thing that you do in this adoption center is apply to become a staff member, one that takes care of the kits in different ways. There are four different job positions:
Mentor: A cat that teaches the kits different things such as hunting and fighting;
Hunter: A cat that hunts for food for the kits if a kit becomes apprentice age here, they may go with the hunter to gather fresh kill;
Medicine cat: Like in any clan, medicine cats heal sick kits and apprentices;
Watchers: Cats that take turns keeping watch and for potential attacks on the adoption center, and defending the center if necessary.
If you are interested in any of these kinds of positions, there is a separate form for this that you can fill out, once you are accepted, you can immediately begin!
Dropping off Kits
The last thing you can do here is drop off a kit... To do so, fill out the form for the kit and leave it here and we'll promise to give the kit the best of care.
You also have the choice of RPing the kit that is dropped off here, or having one of our staff users RP that kit.
You also have the choice of having the kit age while it is in the adoption center or not.
Adoption rules:
★ All Tess rules apply here.
★ Absolutely NO spamming
★ You may try for 1 cat currently at a time!
◆ Do NOT hurt the kits in anyway, please also respect them and the people RPing them.
★ Please let me know if your clan is going to attempt to steal from or attack us. And if you steal please don't just say: "___ ran into the adoption center blinding fast without being seen and stole ____" it kills the fun of the RP.
★ If you haven't RPed on here for longer than 7 days without warning, it will be counted as a forfeit for that adopt and the kit will be open again to adopt, the kit will also have no memories of what had happen.
★ If a kit is set to aging while they are at the adoption center, 3 days=a week in this RP.
★ Event kits will be posted only a special occasions, such as holidays and anniversaries of the center.
★ If you have any questions about this RP please send me a PM.
★ If a kit has a sibling, they MUST be adopted together.
Staff rules:
◆ You may NOT apply for the adoption of a kit or drop off kits as a staff member. You are allowed to make another form of a different cat to adopt or drop off a kit if you want.
◆ If you haven't RPed on here for longer than a week without warning, your cat will be removed from the staff and the kits will have no memory of that staff member.
◆ You may NOT change positions at any time.
◆ As a staff member, you may RP as many kits as you want that are in need of a person to RP them.
Drop Off rules:
✪ You may drop off a max of 3 kits. Note: This number may go up or down depending on how many kits are currently in the center.
✪ You may NOT drop off a kit that may be considered an event kit. (Having special abilities of any kind, wings, etc.)
✪ You are allowed to suggest the difficulty and personality types of the kit(s) that you are dropping off, but I will ultimately make the official decision for this.
Q: My Kit's Feeling meter hasn't gone up at all! Why?
A: What difficulty level is your kit at? Sometimes it just takes time for a kit it warm up to you even the slightest bit, just be patient and keep trying.
Q: As a clan that's going to try and steal some of your kits, do you guys RP the kits when they get to our clan? Or do we?
A: Just like for adopters, it's your choice.
Q: I changed my mind about trying to adopt this kit, can I switch to a different one?
A: You may, but you can only switch to a different kit once.
