Ashpaw sneezed, just as she noticed Sprucewind and Sparrowsong at the border. Great! Just amazing! I'm gonna be caught already! She pushed herself further up, and a twig snapped. She winced.

Her ears twitched as she heard a twig snap. "Did you hear that?" she asked Sparrowsong, looking around. Shrugging, she chuckled, "Probably just a squirrel."

Ashpaw let out her breath that she had been holding until Sprucewind's comment. She pushed herself a little higher, relieved when no more twigs snapped.

Skypaw nodded. She parted her jaws and sniffed the air. "I think I scent one coming from over there." She said and pointed with her muzzle before stalking forward. She saw the mouse up ahead and stalked it cautiously. She pounced on it and landed on it's tail. She killed it quickly, glad that she didn't miss although she had almost missed.
