Moonsong - with Icepaw
Moonsong looked over her shoulder and casted a quick glance at the buried mouse Icepaw had caught just a few moments ago. They would have to come back to it later. Moonsong purred as they padded through the heart of the forest, searching for abundant prey. She lifted her chin and scented the air. More mouse scent was lurking about. The scent smelt like it passed by not to long ago. She looked at Icepaw, waiting to see if she scented the scent as well.

Icepaw's ears flickered to the noise of a mouse scrambling through the underbrush. Her tail stood up before she dropped down into a hunters crouch, stalking forward. She didn't notice Moonsongs eyes on her, she just kept moving forward. Quickly, she pushed off on her hind legs, landing on the mouses back. There was no squeak this time as she delivered the killing bite prancing back to her mentor, her eyes bright "I did it!" she squeaked quietly as she dropped the mouse.

Moonsong - with Icepaw
Moonsong smiled as Icepaw went for the scrambling mouse. She watched as Icepaw killed it without a squeak this time. "Nice catch." she congratulated her apprentice with a flick of her tail. Moonsong dropped into a hunters crouch and scented the air. This time she scented squirrel and instantly followed after it. She spotted her victim. It was very plump and nibbling on an acorn. Moonsong licked her lips and then pounced. She landed squarley on the squirrels haunches and swiftly bent down, killing it with a bite to the neck. With the catch in held firmly in her jaws, she padded back to Icepaw with satisfaction.

Strikestar quickly launched after him, the thrush and mouse clamped in her jaws. She stretched the black paws for which she was named out before her, and relished the feeling of the wind through her fur. She felt as if she was flying, and soon caught up to Addedbite, matching his pace.
