Earthclan has lived in the forest for as long as any cat can remember. The cats have frolicked in streams, climbed trees, and nested in leaves for all their lives. But lately, they have seen more predators in the forest than ever before. Foxes, badgers, even wild dogs have strayed into their territory. Another problem is the sudden increase in the number of thunderstorms. They occur almost every day now, and the medicine cat is worried that something much darker may be coming...darker than anything Earthclan has ever faced.
The leader has received a prophecy. It is as follows:
"Three from the forest and one from beyond
Will travel across rivers, trees, rocks, and ponds,
To fight against darkness, and return once more
To gather the strength of the clan and wage war."
The medicine cat and leader have been discussing this prophecy, but so far are not entirely sure what it means. They have yet to announce this prophecy to the clan, but they will soon. The only thing they know for sure now about the prophecy, however, is that it speaks of a darkness coming - something signaled by storms and predators ravaging the land, and something that is likely worse than anything that has come so far.
