"Thanks Blizzardpaw, I sure hope so. What mentor did you get?" Dirtpaw looked in the way the voice had been coming from.

SnowPelt sighed. She got up and walked near the borders of the camp, checking the scent.

"I got Wolfheart," he said, "I think she's still sleeping, too."

ASHCLOUD
Ashcloud walked out of the warriors den and stretched, yawning. Then he remembered- he had an apprentice! Ashcloud rushed over to where Dirtpaw and Blizzardpaw were talking. "Hello Dirtpaw!" He purred. "And hello Blizzardpaw. Dirtpaw, today is your first day, so I'm planning to take you around the territory. Is that alright?" Ashcloud meowed, kind of nervous. He had never had an apprentice before.

PINEFALL
Pinefall padded over to the fresh- kill pile, limbs still heavy from sleep. He yawned widely, then walked outside the camp, where he saw Goosefeather. "Hello Goosefeather! How are you this morning?" Pinefall asked.

SKYLEAF
Skyleaf had woken up early, and gone out hunting. She had been tired when she set out, and was now surprised to find herself near the borders, where she saw Snowpelt. "Hello Snowpelt? What are you doing this early?" Skyleaf asked, realizing that she herself really had no good reason to be out here.

RAINPAW
Rainpaw bounded over to Blizzardpaw, Dirtpaw, and Ashcloud. Seeing Ashcloud talking to Dirtpaw, she addressed Blizzardpaw, "Good morning? How are you today? Wasn't the sunrise beautiful? What are you doing today?" Rainpaw asked without pausing for breath. She was excited, although that wasn't uncommon. Rainpaw was a very excitable cat.

(Taking down the deputy poll. As we have no leader to announce the deputy, I'm just going to be a random Starclan cat announcing it. Is that okay with everyone?)

Dirtpaw's face lit up, "Yes sir," he stood at attention smiling.

Blizzardpaw took a second to comprehend all that Rainpaw said, "Good morning, Rainpaw. I didn't see the sunset, and I'm not sure what I'm doing today," he said, finishing his sentence with a smile.

Goosefeather smiled at Pinefall, "I'm good, how are you?" She asked.

[Melaleuca]

ASHCLOUD
Ashcloud smiled at his apprentice's enthusiasm. "There's no need to call me sir. We are clanmates, and therefore equals. You should still show me respect," Ashcloud added in a mock stern voice, " But you never need to call me sir. Follow me, and I'll take you out of camp." Ashcloud meowed, excited.

PINEFALL
"I'm doing well, thanks." Pinefall said. "If you're not doing anything, would you like to go hunting with me later? We could take another cat or two, bit the fresh-kill pile is a bit low." Pinefall said, pointing with his tail toward the pile.

RAINPAW
Rainpaw licked her chest, embarrassed. Rainpaw talked a lot, she realized."Well, I'm glad to hear it. I saw the sunrise, but only because I got up ridiculously early. I font know what I'm doing either- at some point I should find Birchwhisker and ask." Rainpaw said, more slowly this time, and smiling.

Goosefeather smiled, "Uh, sure!" She said, stammering a little.

Birchwhisper finally rolled out of bed, slightly panicking when he realized he slept in. He padded out of the den and looked around, relaxing when he noticed other cats still sleeping.

Blizzardpaw nodded, "I should find Wolfheart, too" he said, "But I haven't seen her up yet, have you seen her?" He asked
