With Darkwind rudely reminding her verbally, she snorts and stands at the site of Dovepaw. As much as she didn't like toms or social encounters it was best to 'grin and bare it' as they say. After all, it was nothing personal and it would be hurtful for him to hear. "Glad to see you didn't sleep in on such a fine day." She mews, approaching her apprentice.

It seemed there were a lot of cats in camp and no patrols being sent out. He hoped this was what Ivystar was asking about, prey would be low before they knew it and the lack of kits would show soon enough. Rabbitfoot and Narrowclaw didn't seem busy though he had no guts to talk to any cats.

Watching Hushpad walk away, the tom was once again by himself looking for something to do. Even if he didn't want to offer his work right now, the whole point of being a warrior was to offer up your labor. The apprentices seemed to excited to become warriors only to have more work then did in training, until they died anyway.

"i think that starting today i'm going to amp up your training. make it tougher" he meowed simply.

Just as Sagewhisker was about to leave, he caught word of the deputy giving orders of a border control. If there was a patrol, that would mean he wouldn't have to hunt, or he shouldn't have to. With a sudden grin, he crept across the camp, light on his paws until he reached Minkcloud. "Ohh Minkcloud~" He purred, flicking his ear with his tail as he approached him. "I heard you had a patrol, would you mind if I join you?"

All Rabbitfoot could manage to bring back was some small little mouse that probably wasn't worth anything to anyone. But he didn't particularly care, and the tom sat that small little mouse onto the prey pile, somebody would eat it eventually, it's not like it'd go to waste, and he supposed he could be kinda proud of it, not too much though.

Ravenbeak nodded, those nightmares must be terrible to deal with, she briefly pondered how Robinshadow would fair without Duskwish but she decided not to dwell on it for too long and crossed the thought out of her mind. When he told her to wait, she sat there like an obedient dog until he returned in which she immediately piped up again. "There was a choice though, you just chose the better of two."

duskwish spotted her waiting patently for his return and chuckled quietly to himself, yellow pools glowing with amusement. "of course. what kind of twisted soul would leave a kit to die?" he asked rhetorically, watching the female. by appearance, the two could most definitely pass for siblings. they possessed the same black coat with the same piercing yellow optics as well. though of course, size wise, the tom was slightly broader than the female, equipped with larger paws and longer legs.

the gray and white tom sat on his haunches, quietly groom his fur smooth. it hadn't been long since he woken up. in other situations, he would look for his apprentice, but since it was quite early, he figured to let him off- for a few minutes more that is. falconfoot pulled away from his pelt once he was satisfied that his fur was glossy enough for the day. he let out a sigh, flicking an ear. from the corner of his light colored eyes, he spotted bearpaw slip out of his den, and settle lightly to talk with his den mates. the warrior decided to let him socialize while he worked on a lesson for today.

embertail smiled at the leader, her head tilting softly as ivystar replied quite bluntly, but she shrugged it off. the tortoiseshell warrior gave her chest a few licks before looking up at the molly. she shook her head. "no no, i rested fine. i'm not the cat to sleep in, but more as the early bird," she explained, wrapping her tail neatly over her small paws. embertail flicked an ear, and ran a tongue over her lips. "is there anything out of the ordinary planned for today?" she asked, smiling lightly.
