Robinstar padded out of her den giving a small purr at her clan. Where having a good day new apprentices and a new deputy but we need more kits and more kits means more cats.

Blackpine came out of the warrior's den to be greeted by Seedpaw jumping on him. He giave her a gentle push off, and before she could ask, he said, "we'll be doing hunting today, Seedpaw."

Seedpaw swatted her mentor's tail. "It's a mouse! It's a mouse!"
Blackpine snorted. "No, the mice are in there, mousebrain," he guestered with his tail to the forest, and Seedpaw nodded. "I know! I was just being silly!" The apprentice ran into the forest, and Blackpine padded in after her. What else is new?

Robinstar looked at the eager apprentice. She seems like she would make a good warrior if she concentrates that is Blackpine has much work a head of him.

(Agreed CX New Prophecy!: Seedpaw is crazy! Cue Blackpine saying, 'what else is new?')

Blackpine grumbled softly as he watched his apprentice trample through the woods like a crazy badger. "Quiet down..." he drawled. "You'll scare away all our prey!"

Seedpaw slowed down. "Oops sorry- I see you birdy!"

Seedpaw trampled through the woods, and the robin she'd been 'stalking' flew off. "Come back!" Seedpaw yowled.
"It knows you're going to eat it," Blackpine purred.

"How?" Seedpaw asked.
Blackpine huffed. "You were trampling through the woods like a badger," he said.

Seedpaw flattened her ears against her head. "Sorry, Blackpine, but if thwy sound like me, how do they hunt?"

Blackpine snorted. "I've been wondering the same thing for a long time, now, let's see if there's any prey left, shall we?"

Robinstar lied down in a sunny spot grooming herself waiting to see if something interesting would happen.
