Hourhaze nodded. "I will certainly do so." She replied, and walked out of the den. Hourhaze was used to Rainpelt's stubbornness, but he can manage anything from a wound to a broken bone. "I'm sure Rainpelt and Cherryfall can do it." She said to Drynose.

[Oops, sorry. Wrong name. Yeah, it's Rainpelt.]
Drynose nodded to Hourhaze, a little hurt.
Rainpelt went back over to his herbs and continued sorting, making sure Bumblepaw's breathing stayed calm and steady.

Lilacpaw - She cat - Apprentice - Open

Lilacpaw sat near the apprentice's den, quietly eating a small mouse. Her black tail twitched aimlessly back and forth while her green eyes flickered over the clan. She seemed surprisingly silent, but that wouldn't last long. She was determined to find someone to annoy.

[Dawntail's patrol is back]
Dawntail padded into camp and saw Lilacpaw, "Hey, go get some prey and than we can head out to train.", he meowed to his apprentice before going over to the fresh-kill pile himself and choosing a vole. He padded over to the corner of the camp and tucked into his prey.

"Okay, Dawntail!" She meowed back excitedly. Lilacpaw quickly finished up her mouse and swiftly raced out of camp. She was feeling particularly happy today and couldn't wait to show off some hunting skills. Once she was out far enough, she stuck her small nose into the air and searched for any trace of unfortunate prey.

Dawntail raced after Lilacpaw. He slowed down and began to follow her scent trail. Once he found her, he strode over to her, "Hey! Do you have bees in your brain?! When did it become okay to race off without me?! It's leaf-bare, animals are hungry! Anything could've found you and taken you away! And I wouldn't be here to help you! The first thing I told you was to never go ahead without me!", Dawntail fumed. How could she be so careless, especially at times like these?!
[He doesn't remember what it'd like to be an apprentice, so he's a bit grouchy. ^^]

The apprentice flattened her ears against her head as she stared up at her mentor, eyes wide. "I-I t-thought it'd be okay! I thought you meant to go hunt and then come back. Plus, i can totally fight!" She smiled sheepishly but looked absolutely terrified. She HATED being scolded. "I'm not useless."

Hourhaze went off hunting, hoping to find a plump rabbit to treat him. As if the forest read her mind, a rustle of leaves sounded nearby. Hourhaze's head shot at that direction, and found a rabbit emerging from a bush, and nibbling on some grass. Great, it's just perfect. This is best opportunity; the rabbit let its guard down to eat. Hourhaze crouched, keeping her body flattened so the rabbit couldn't spot her. She was also some-what bordered by other bushes, which is even better. Mk, so the rabbit's rear-end is facing me; better go get it before it turns and leaves. Hourhaze lunged at the rabbit, with claws unsheathed, anchoring her claws into the rabbit's back. The rabbit was about to escape, but Hourhaze was quick on her heels, and pinned the rabbit down. She bit into the rabbit's neck, snapping its spine and ending its life there. She thanked Starclan for its life. Staying in the forest a bit longer, she caught a couple of birds, squirrels, and other rabbits to support her clan. Bringing all of them back to the camp, she settled all of the prey into the fresh-kill pile, setting the plump rabbit aside. Hourhaze walked up to the Medicine Cat's den, and asked Cherryfall to give it to Bumblepaw.

Dawntail sighed, "I know you're not useless. It's just... you're not as experienced as a full grown warrior. I don't think you understand how strong animals like foxes and badgers are. They're not something to mess with. You're getting really great at fighting, but there's a lot more for you to learn. Here, I'll make you a deal. Today, we practice hunting, and tomorrow I'll wake you up early so we can practice battle moves. Okay?"

Drynose sat in the corner of the camp, grooming her fur. The warrior looked around camp, seeing if anyone needed help. [She's open]
