Rosepaw padded over to the fresh kill pile. She picked up a mouse and sat in the sunlight as she chewed. She listened to dusk's breathing. "Why am I so into him?" She thought. "He's just a rogue." She thought, but she knew there was more to him than that.

Dusk sighed, sitting on the moss bedding that was in the corner. He spun three times before he laid down and rested his head on his paws.

After finishing her mouse, she walked into the den. She caught a familiar scent. "Oh, hey dusk. Didn't realize you were in here." She curled up in a nest closer to him than her normal nest.

She thought for a moment. "If you don't mind me asking, what was your life like before you came to cover for Emberpaw?" She rested her head on her paws while she waited for an answer.

Dusk's eyes shot open, "Oh, Rogue life." he yawned, "Just like Clan life only harder. If you didn't open your eyes in under three days; you'd be thrown out. he flicked his tail from side to side, "And they'd stick us with two-Leg's to see if we could survive."

She thought for a second, and then nodded. Suddenly she looked small and shy. "Do you really love Emberpaw? Or are you both acting?" She said it softly and shyly.

Rosepaw was extremely relieved at his answer, but she didn't know why. "Because you love him" a voice said in the back of her mind. She nodded at that voice. She knew it was true, she count deny it. "But he doesn't love me" She thought sadly. "Who would love a blind cat."

"Do you like anyone in camp?" She asked quietly after a few moments of silence.
