She curls her tail over her newborn kits. "Should I move to the nursery?" She asks.

She reached up and nuzzles his cheek. "I want to stay in our den with you." She tells him before looking down at her kits.

Rosepaw and Oakpaw had shared a mouse and were laying in the sun. She licked his cheek and sighed. "I don't deserve you." She whispered. "I'm just a useless blind cat... you could do so much better." She wound her tail around tighter, despite what she thought.
