thunderstar had been awake since dawn. he was always the first in the clan to rise, mainly because he was the one assigning patrols. the past deputy, adderclaw, had died two sunrises ago, and he still hadn't made his decision. who would become stormclan's next deputy? there were many worthy candidates, but most did not seem altruistic when it came to true loyalty. thunderstar was young, but had already lost two lives only six moons into his leadership. times of hardship were emerging. who would be the best choice? who would save their clan?
