Sylvia quickly turned her head away and blushed. "R-right... Thanks." She said softly, almost losing control of her disguise.

Azure Skye narrowed her eyes slightly, the scanner built into her visor picking up a change in energy from Sylvia, magic energy. "She's a Pegasus.... How is it possible that the sensors are detecting magic...?" She muttered to herself.

Aquila yawned softly, walking slowly and staring up at the course. She'd had to almost completely switch her schedule around for this. With a slight shake of her head, happy to not be wearing her armor at this particular moment, she stretched her wings out, only to accidentally brush one up against another pony, a dark blue mare. "Ah, sorry about that." She started, her wings snapping back to her sides. "Should've paid more attention."

Blood smiled and nodded. He nudged her, "Forgot to tell you my name. I'm Blood Racer."

Azure was startled from her concentration, looking at the batpony slightly. "Oh, no, don't worry." She said, lifting her visor up from her eyes so it rested on her forehead. "You look familiar, were you at the opening ceremony for the race?"

Sylvia looked back at him. "Oh, nice to meet you... I'm Sylvia."

"I was." Aquila confirmed with a small nod. "You're competing, I take it?" She asked the mare curiously. Getting to know some of the racers wouldn't be that bad of an idea, and would help pass the time until it started and she was on duty.

"Yes, I also designed part of the course." Azure said, looking at the starting line. "It's a death trap.. I expect at least half of the racers won't make it."
