Her eyes widend at the news, followed by a happy smile. Still, she controlled her emotions, leaping up the rock beside LightningStar. WildFern dipped her head to the leader in respect before turning her attention to the Clan.

She dipped her head to Wildfern. "Meeting dismissed" she said before her gaze going onto Wildfern. "Go get something to eat and enjoy yourself. Before you get to tired though I would like it if you came to my den." Lightningstar said softly before leaping off high rock.

He nodded slowly. He thought Wikdfern was a good choice. "Im sure she will be a great deputy." He thought before lifting his head higher. "Wildfern! Wildfern!" He cheered happily.

Blazeleaf

She folded back her ears. She had missed the meeting, she looked at Dustykit and rolled her eyes. "Yeah free, getting to play all day and do whatever you want." She said before licking her paw. "Then again playing by self always got boring after a while. But before you played would need to go hunting so you can have something to eat. And learning how to hunt might take awhile without having someone to teach you how. But you may not have to worry about that to much, I'm sure trying to stay away from rogues, loners and the occasional fox and badger will keep you busy." She said giving a flick of her tail. She looked at Dustykit again. "Well why would Lightningstar make you deputy? You are leaving after all, aren't you?"

Graycloud nodded, "Yeah, you can go," she muttered. She turned her attention to Wildfern and purred her approval.

Relieved, he padded away and immediately headed to the fresh-kill pile.

She nodded her head to LightningStar before leaping off the rock. Her eyes shined with exitement. WildFern proudly paddded to the fresh-kill pile, picking out a small vole before sitting down in Camp, head filled with thoughts."Should I start planning patrols? How many patrols should I send out? Maybe I should get someone to clean the nursery first?" Thoughts raced through her head as she munched on the vole.

He picked out the two fattest pieces of prey he could find, licking them both to be sure no cat took them, and began eating, first taking a bite from one piece, then the other.

Graycloud got up from her spot and joined Wildfern and Seapaw at the fresh-kill pile. "Congratulations. You'll make a great deputy." She smiled and glanced at Seapaw who was eating two large pieces of prey. She cuffed his ear with sheathed paws, "Save some for the others, will ya?" She meowed sarcastically.

Seapaw looked up. "Oh. Shorry, I wath jusht ha'ing two pieces," he said, mouth full of food.

She lifted her head from thoughts, at GrayClouds compliment. She dipped her head respectfully, meowing out a thank you before finishing her vole. She got up from her spot, padding off to LightningStars den."LightningStar?" She called before entering.
