Songpaw perked her ears as she heard her name being mentioned. She padded over.
"Yes?' She meowed.

Adderstar thought for a moment. "How about your apprentice and Songwing?" She mewed.

Firepaw nodded. "Okay, which herbs do we need?" He asked.

-Redwing-
Redwing nodded, " Songpaw, I think it would be a good experience for her" redwing purred. She was about to get up and retiring her apprentice when she saw Songpaw walking over. Redwing smiled and greeted her apprentice, " Adderstar had chosen us to go on morning patrol" she said giving her apprentice a quick lick on the head. Redwing loved having an apprentice, even though she haddnt been training Songpaw long Redwing believed that she had already created a good friendship with Songpaw.

He looked at firepaw and padded over to him, " well what do you think we need" Wildpath said resting his tail on Firepaws sholders. Just looking at the piles he knew that really they needed a bit of everything but that would take to long. Wildpath made a note of a few piles that were dangerously low, ' so we need poppy seeds, catmint and daisy leaves of we can find any' Wildpath thought to himself waiting for his apprentices response.

I sit outside my den, my grey pelt fluffed up against the leaffall chill. I look around, my green eyes hazy with sleep. I have just woken up, and im thinking about the coming of leafbare. will there be many green cough cases? Or whitecough? Our clan is small as it is already...i just hope everything will turn out ok.. I think to myself, crossing my paws as i look up at the sky, and the colorful leaves swirling through it.

Firepaw looked over the piles. There's a lot of herbs low..but Catmint is really low, and so is...the poppy seeds. "I think we need catmint and poppy seeds." He mewed uncertainly.

Adderstar looked over at Songpaw. Just then she remembered she had an apprentice. "I think I'll bring my apprentice." She mewed aloud.

( I noticed on the front page redwings apprentice is lightningpaw, and Songpaw is not on the front page)

-Wildpath-
Wildpath smiled down at his apprentice, " correct welldone Firepaw you never know this year we may get an out break of green cough so we need to be prepared, but if we see any daisies I suggest we collect some of the leaves, we never know when an elder may get join pains" he praised. Wildpath picked up a curved piece of bark he used for holding poppyseeds, he carefully tipped the seeds into a leaf for safekeeping. " This will help if we come across anything else we may need" he added his voice muffled by the bark.

She nodded happy to be going on patrol with the leader and two apprentices. But an image of Rain her brother flashed through her mind, 'what if he has come into our territory' she thought the fur on her neack stood on end just thinking about it.
