She gritted her teeth, thrashing her tail madly as she sent a rough glare at them all. Her coarse, grey fur cackled with unease, her ears flickering...she was surrounded, the old cat named 'Rainclaw' right behind her, the other two at her sides. Silver sucked in a quivering breath, taking a threatening step back.
"-Deal with me? I don't think so...and I don't plan on leaving, either," she spat.

Hazelfur-
She accidentally let out a laugh

He soon caught the vole and carried it back to camp. "Pinewing I brou-" His voice died when he saw his denmate's still, body in the middle of the clearing. His eyes widened with shock and grief. "Wh-what happened?" He demanded.

The tortoiseshell thrashed his tail, letting out a sharp, angered hiss as he flattened his ears, turning abruptly to her. "-This isn't funny, Hazel! Watch yourself...," his voice faded into a pained whisper, Owl's ears splaying with sadness, lost. "...He got caught beneath a monster."

Rainclaw stared in disbelief and sadness. For all their arguing and complaining about each other, they'd actually become friends in a way. His eyes flashed furiously to Hazelfur. "Take this 'condition' of yours out of camp!" He snapped at her. "Pinewing was a great warrior! He doesn't deserve to be disrespected like this."

Hazelfur-
Her eyes filled with tears from crying, "Oh it's just so funny!" Hazelfur looked at Owlstar, "I mean I'll take some herbs to make me better.." She trailed off to the medicine den

Pinewing had been his mentor, his guide- the very cat who had taught him the ways of clan life, the one who had pushed him hard to become what he had... "-A great, great warrior..."

He watched Owlstar and Rainclaw sadly, greif in his eyes. As Hazelfur entered the den, he looked desperately at her. "Wasn't there any chance you could've saved him," He asked.
