~OWLSTAR~
The Tom roused to his paws, thrashing his tail madly as he stormed out of the den, flattening his ears. "-Hazel, why are you still here? I have given you your time with Asbenfoot...now please go. We're hurting enough without you here, don't make it worse."~BOUNCEWING~
He twitched his whiskers, nodding softly as he ate the last bits of the vole. After a moment he sat back, gently grooming Forest's shoulders with a sly smile of amusement, rasping his tongue over her coarse, steely white fur as he cleaned it. "-Did you sleep well last night?"~WEEDKIT~
The splotchy calico gave an eased shrug, his ears splaying feebly as he followed the larger tom into the rocky den, his dim gaze flickering vividly over the shelves of herbs, it's minty, cut-throat scent a haze in his mind. "...I guess... I like the way they smell. Hey, isn't this borage?" He cocked a small brow, innocently nodding to the crumbled leaves Asbenfoot had shown him earlier.~WHITEKIT~
She squealed, ruffling up her fur as she pressed up against her mother.~SILVERTONGUE~
The sly she-cat couldn't help but smile, curling up beside him and pushing her nose into his soft, plush fur, grinning bashfully beneath her breath. She could feel her heart fluttering with triumph, pride, satisfaction...all at once, her thoughts spinning.
"...Well, it's good to know you think I'm interesting...," she murmured, giving a gentle nod. "...Have you ever thought of mentoring someone, Stone?"
