"Hi Snowypatch! I am now an apprentice!" Honeypaw mews and gently paws Nightpaw again.

Nightpaw: He crouched down to maintain balance.

((Brownie's open))

Fallstorm padded through the forest with Thistlefang behind him. "Anything?"

"No," Thistlefang replied. "This really isn't a prey-rich part of the forest, we're too close to the twoleg place."

Brownie looked around and saw a mouse. "Wait 'til Jen sees this." She meowed, to herself and then crouched. The kittypet pounced onto the mouse, and then bit down on it's neck. "Ahah!" Brownie meowed in triumph.

Fallstorm's ears flicked up, "Did you hear that?" He asked his brother.

Thistlefang nodded. "Sounds like someone who shouldn't be catching prey." He growled and bounded off towards the sound. When he spotted the unknown cat (Brownie) he lept about of the undergrowth. "Hey!" He snarled.

Brownie stopped in her tracks, eyeing the cat. "Hello... She meowed, the mouse under her paws. Doesn't look like a nice wild cat... The kittypet thought nervously. Her pink collar showed on her neck.

Fallstorm padded up and stood next to his much larger brother. The sweet scent of mouse bathed his tongue. Though he would never be able to see a mouse, the difference was easy to tell. "What are you doing with that?" He growled.

Thistlefang flicked his tail but allowed his brother to speak.

"All I did was catch it."Brownie meowed, "Not like I ate it." The kittypet took her paw off the limp mouse, a slight grin on her face.

[rentropy]

"But-" Fallstorm was cut off by Thistlefang.
"But you were going to eat it," Thistlefang growled. "We need that prey. And not eating it is a fair waste of good food that could feed a hungry kit or queen."

Brownie shook her head. "I wasn't." The kittypet meowed.
