But you did do well." he looked away again, "You may even be better at navigating the trees than i am, when you become a warrior." The icy eyed warrior's eyes slowly filled with an emotion he rarely showed, regret. The tom looked at his dark brown paws and sighed, "You've become a fine cat, Foxpaw."

Foxpaw looked back down at Hawkwing, sensing a change in his voice. She made sure to steer clear of questioning warriors of their thoughts. "Oh, I see. And thank you, I feel I am best here in the trees. It's a different environment, and something useful." She meowed, before smiling a toothy grin. "And, I don't think I am better then you, if anything, I am just learning off cats like you,when it comes to this." She said, nodding.

Sparrowpaw got up and dipped her head to her leader," I hope you enjoy the pigeon, I better give the other half to Poppyblaze." She mewed

Sunbird heard them and chuckled before looking to his sister," I'm not going to take them to far into the territory." He mewed

Dawnfrost flicked her tail," Still, kits are not aloud to leave camp in any condition unless needed." She hissed

Fox approached the west side of the alley now, she was curious of what was true. She paced slightly before jumping to a tree for cover just in case.

Ravenkit and shadowkit where having a playful brawl and ravenkit won as allways pinned him by his hunches and a paw on his throught

Hawkwing looked back up at her and smiled, "The trees are like a second home huh?" He got to his paws and leaped up to a higher branch so he could speak with her more easily, "And trust me. You'll be better than me one day, once im headed for the elders den." He glanced away for a moment. "And im glad you at least learned one thing from me," he said this more quietly not really wanting her to hear but figured it must be said. "Anyway," he said looking back his eyes filled with a false happiness as he was still worrying about the Dawnfrost issue, "Im sure you need to go back to watching the boarder."

"No it seems like its just getting started," Poppyblaze said, "Where is whispermoon when you need him."

Shadowkit actually stugled since ravenkit had him pinned hard. Her paw was on his throught one was on his shoulder and the others where on his hindpaws and he called out "SUNBIRD!"

Foxpaw studied his stare as he spoke, something was indeed a miss. But, Foxpaw was a bit oblivious herself, along with the disdain for confrontation. She just held her faint, gentle smile. "Thank your for your kind words, I'll keep them in mind." She said before looking around. "I guess Coldcry found a scent a while ago." She mumbled to herself before raising her tail. "You are correct. Alright, well see you then." She meowed,before swiftly racing off, one branch to the next down before going after Coldcry's scent.

Hawkwing watched her go before looking up to the sky. It was getting dark and the stars were showing but only faintly. He suddenly remembered the two falling stars he had seen a while ago and s shiver went down his spine.

"Sparrowpaw...." a voice whispered in sparriwpaw's ear "Sparrowpaw..."
