Aspenfoot nodded and ran a paw carefully over the tom's spine, feeling for the break. "Can you feel everything? Your legs?" Aspenfoot asked, worried that his broken spine might have left Brackenstar paralyzed.

"I can feel everthing, I might need some herbs." he winced.

Featherwhisper looked at Brakenstar and sighed with relief. "I am so sorry.."

Jaypaw looked at her and licked the top of her head. "Nothing."

"No.." he purred. "It's all my fault.. I wanted you to go on the hunt.. it was my fault for not realizing the branch was sturdy..." he said.

"Okay." she purred, and licked between Jaypaw's ears affectionately.

Featherwhisper shook her head. "No.. I won't forgive myself." She looked at her paws.

"Yes you can! You didn't do anything!" he exclaimed.

Featherwhisper looked up at him. "But-" She shook her head. "Never mind that." She sighed and looked at Aspenfoot. "I will leave you to work." She glanced at Brakenstar one last time before padding out.

Aspenfoot nodded, relieved. That was good. She went to her store and got the herbs she needed. "Your going to have to stay in the medicine den for a while." Aspenfoot told him. "No more warrior duties for a while."
