"How much longer? My paws are tired and sore!", Jack whined to Jingo, the leader of this mixed pack.
"Till we find Savannah.", the bengal said to her comrade.
Savannah had been a former clan cat who had lost their memory when with them before returning to the clans.
"Whatever. Savannah is as good as gone.", Jasper muttered and Jingo whipped around.
"Shut up! Savannah was my friend, and she loved you guys!", she snapped.
The only one who seemed to care was Jericho and herself.
Jericho was Jingo's brother and had fallen in love with Savannah. Of course, she left before he could confess.
Jingo knew Savannah was going to leave, because the other Bengal felt a tug calling her.
"It's pointless, Jingo. Savannah is dead by now.", Jericho said, hurt in his amber eyes.
Jingo glared at them.
"Well we can't turn back!"
"How about we all take a break till sunhigh? We are exhausted."
The five cats found a small forest and crawled into a hollow tree, Jingo moving a thorn bush in front of the entrance.
They all went out to hunt and returned to their small den and ate quietly.
Before long they all fell asleep.
Jingo awoke in a moorland-like area, but there were some trees. It looked like it was dawn, and starlight shimmered on the tall grass.
A Bengal she-cat was bounding toward her, starlight covering her fur.
"Hello Jingo."
"Savannah? Where am I?"
"Please call me Spottedwhisker.", the Bengal said, a gentle smile on her muzzle.
"This is Starclan."
"What is this place? Is like a heaven for clan cats?"
Spottedwhisker nodded before walking off, signaling Jingo to follow.
"All deceased cats who believed in Starclan come here. Those who don't go to the Dark Forest. Though, that's not what I want to show you."
The Bengal walked over to a pool of water and sat beside it.
She signaled for Jingo to as well.
She then placed a paw on the water, and it's rippled as she removed it.
There, on the water's surface, and image was reflected.
It was a young tabby cat, with bright amber eyes.
She was close to a ginger Tom with green eyes, the same shade as Spottedwhisker.
Then there was a white she-cat with blue eyes, looking sad and empty.
"Those are you kits?"
Spottedwhisker nodded, a tear falling down her cheek.
"Those three mischievous kits betrayed the code to meet each other. I ended up coming and saving them from a badger. It got me but my kits managed to chase it off. I told them they were my kits, and they could ask Crowstar or Heartstar. It was true. I died that day."
Jingo stared at her friend before her eyes flashed to the moving water.
"Jingo, their clans are going to join as one. I want you to watch them."
"How? Am I supposed to join their clan?"
Spottedwhisker chuckled.
"No, my friend. You are to make your own clan."
The water rippled a large territory was shown.
There was a river around this land, branches of streams entering the land.
There was a small forest, it looked like willow trees.
"This is your clan's territory. Whisperclan's territory."
Jingo looked up at Spottedwhisker who was looking at her.
"From this moment on, you shall be known as Whisperstar. Jay shall be known as Jayleap, Jericho as Duneripple, Jack as Ferretwhisker, and Jasper as Quietpaw."
Whisperstar awoke in the den.
"Guys, I have to tell you something..."
