The tom, when hearing Birdstar ask for all present apprentice to step forward, he did so in a heart beat. He was eager to begin training under someone, and eager to learn. Wither that was a good thing or a bad thing it wasn't to much different for each other. Though he couldn't wait for Birdstar to say who his mentor would be, he was excited all the way to the tip of his tail.

Dreampaw slowly looked up at high rock, as Birdstar called for all present apprentices to step forward. She was a little hesitant herself to step forward. What if she wouldn't get a mentor and would have to become an elder, at seven moons old. She slowly and carefully got up and padded herself forward. A little instead along the way, and having to keep her head down slightly and her right eye heading forward so she could see where she was going. Though she was not the most eager of the apprentices. ... Maybe I just might be an apprentice forever... she thought to herself as slowly padded her way up with the other apprentices.

I wonder who my mentor will be,she thought and looked at the cats and thought which one would be her mentor, but quickly looked back at Birdstar.

Adderpaw stood up tall and stepped forward along with all the other apprentices. He looked at the others and then up at Birdstar, wondering who his mentor would be. Adderpaw went through a list of the warriors in the clan and shrugged, not caring, just excited to have a mentor finally.
