Featherstar turned to see Flint. Surprise was evident, she stood and padded a fox-length away from him. "Hello Flint. It's been a long time." She meowed calmly. "Come back to try to join again?"

Ebony turned to where his sister was and saw Flint. He padded over and sat next to his sister, silent.

"Featherstar." He hissed.
He didn't want to talk to her but he replied back, "Join the Clan again? Impossible."
Flint took some pawsteps backwards.

Ebony stood and walked a pawstep behind his sister but still beside her, his tail thrashing.

Flint hissed then took a pawstep forward, glaring at Featherstar's eyes. His tail swayed and he sprang up behind Featherstar and clawed at her underbelly.

Featherstar hissed and used her hindlegs to kick him off. She leaped on top of him and raked her claws down his back, her size and slender build giving her an advantage.

Ebony snarled but couldn't do anything without harming his sister. He waited for the right moment.
