Shadowpaw finally reached his mentor and sat down with a thump,"Easy for you to say. My old clan doesn't have to run as much and you have more undergrowth here. Also you are really fast for a RockClan cat."

Ravenstar crouched down his tail straight out behind him,"Ok copy my crouch. Remember to keep your tail down."

Lightningfeet glanced at Shadowpaw and his eyes glimmered with amusement, "how do you think I earned my warrior name?" he asked purring as he looked out, "This is the Lakeclan border" Lightningfeet meowed flicking his tail and barley glanced across it.

Timberpaw dashed towards camp then placed his bird in the pile.

Duster twitched, for, he too was amused. "We have practice in covering our tracks. My brothers and sisters left, there names were mouse, moose, mottle, and merry. "

Crystalpelt couldn't help feel a pang of grief seeing Starkit. After all she had helped Stardust with the delivery.

"Really? That's amazing. Well looks like we are here. Duster you are going to meet our leader Ravenstar, but he is nicer than he appears." Icefang explained as he padded into camp.

Ravenstar turned scenting a new smell, he noticed the new cat with Icefang and Tumblewhisker. The large black tom stopped grooming but ran his paw over the large scar on his muzzle before standing,"Who is this?"

"Really? I've never seen their territory since BlackClan isn't close enough to LakeClan. Their scent is really fishy," the black and white tom took a step back, wrinkling his nose.

"Be nice" Lightningfeet meowed rolling his eyes and then started walking along the border meowing about the best places to hunt around here.

"Well it is," shadowpaw mumbled under his breath as he followed his mentor,"What clan did you come from?"

Lightningfeet looked back at Shadowpaw his eyes sharp and tinted with slight anger, "Lakeclan" he meowed and glanced over spotting in the distance a golden pelt, Echosong his sister was hunting.

"Oh.....sorry about that...." Shadowpaw mewed his ears pinned back. He noticed Lightningfeet was watching something so he looked where his mentor was. He spotted a golden she-cat and tilted his head to the side,"Who is she?"

Duster twitched his ear. "This Ravenstar... you talk about him as if he's an authority..." Duster was very curious.

"He has the highest position in the clan. He is leader and he is the large black tom infront of us,"Icefang mewed angling his ears toward the large tom with a scar across his muzzle.

Ravenstar nodded his head and his ice blue eyes sparkled with curiosity,"Hello. I am Ravenstar, leader of RockClan. May I know your name?"
