Storm felt so useless. He tried to push himself up. to go and move and help. He nodded in acknowledgement. He tried to talk but all that came out were Sounds. He winced and his left paw hit a rock on a soft spot. He moved forward with the help.

"I'm Lilith," the dove said, trying to help distract Storm from the pain. "And you're Storm, the healer for this pack."

Ato nodded several times. "come on! we have to go! now!" he turned to run back to his friends.
Larka's eyes widened. she had begun to follow him, but flames had suddenly surged up around her, blocking her off from him. "go ato!" she yowled. the flames over took her and she fell to the ground, she looked up to see the face of viper... the shadowwalker that had followed her here. "your marked." viper hissed. "you cant leave, not yet." she laughed and the face disappeared. but now the voice was beside larka's ear. "You are marked, destined to live alone. you cant have family and you cant have ffriends." the it laughed. "i wont allow it!"
Talen nodded and followed pax, glad to see ato run up beside them.

Storm nodded inside he was laughing. Everyone would need help including him and he was the healer which meant his needs would come last and everyone needed almost equal help and he probably could help them with the burns he had. Once he got cool water in him he could talk and wash the wounds and soothe the burns. Unfortunatly Fire dosen't have water or it would be called a flood. Storm chuckled at his joke and kept walking. He tripped over a rock and fell to the ground in pain.

Lilith helped Storm up. "Don't worry, I'm pretty good with herbs and wrappings. I can help you when we're all safe, and everyone will be fine."

Storm nodded and saw a small pond and pointed to it. He knew a river flowed near by and there the fire would stop and everyone could help the burns. The only thing and log that was on fire was blocking their only route that wasn't covered by just plain fire.

Larka was trembling, and she closed her eyes. no... she thought. its all a lie. i can never be happy.... she's right..... the fire was in a large ring around her, seeming as if to be held back, yet the flames still licked at her fur, burning her flesh. i cant... she thought. it will be all over soon... please.... then a new face flashed in her miind's eye, midnight. "NO!!!" she roared. leaping up from the ground. "there is always hope viper! im not a coward like you! i will NOT run away!" she bunched her muscles and leaped through the fire her whole body hurt horribly. "fool...." hissed a voice of viper. "you know the prophecy as well as i!" "shut up!" larka snarled."the prophecy is an old elder's tale! nothing more!"

Lilith motioned for Storm to wait where he was. She padded over, scoping the area out. There was a space under the log, one wolf at a time could fit through it and not get burned. She urged Storm towards it, then showed him by darting under it, then coming back out on his side.

Somber laid Sparrow down in a quiet area. They had escaped the fire, but she seemed to be unconscious. He rinsed the ash and soot from his coat in a stream nearby, hissing as the water touched his tender paws and belly flesh. He clenched his teeth hard against the pain, he knew water would help right now.

Larka made it through the wall of fire. landingheavily on her paws. she was coughing, midnight must have gotten out... she thought. she ran to the entrance and was horrorfied to see enormous flames blocking it. no.... she was mortified. what now?! She turned to see a weak spot in the camp's wall, not all of it was made of the earth/stone. she raced towards it and crashed through the open spot thorns and brambled catching in her coat. she ran through the forest, glad for the coolness outside of the fire. where were they? midnight? sparrow? zippura? where?!

Pax surged forward, smelling water. A stream came up in front of her and she plunged into its cool depths. As she fell, she grabbed talen by his scruff nad pulled him down with her. They were clear of the fire for now, but smoke still reathed around them. She turned to a spluttering talen. "Talen, there's something i need to tell you."
