"Don't EVER disrespect your alpha!" Midnight snarled, shoving Pax off of him and swiping at her ears. Fear made him act the way he was. "Get a move on, unless you want to die. I'm not sure where he is. I'm not sure where my own Mate is!" He snarled, shoving Pax forward.

"Thanks." Sparrow murmured breathlessly, her green eyes looking into Larka's blue ones. "Where's Talen, Midnight, Storm, Ato, Pax, Sage, and everyone else?" She asked with a panic.

"Talen? Talen?! Talen where are you?!" he was just right beside him now he was gone Ato was tired of losing his loved ones, it wasnt happening again, Sparrow and Talen were his only friends now and he wasnt about to lose them "TALEN?! SPARROW?!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" He smelt Talen just barely over the smell of the smoke, he wasnt losing his scent, no he wouldnt he followed it dodging the flames and fallen trees "Im coming Talen!"

Larka kept running, dragging sparrow's feet and tail in the dust. a sudden pained look came into her eyes. "i dont know..." her voice was choked with terror." she set sparrow down, though she was reluctant. she had found sparrow, she didn't want to lose her."can you run?!" she gasped. she was planning on finding the others. her eyes were full of pain, sadness and terror. this time there was no mask. and this was strange, she had always kept it up around sparrow, but now. it was off, open to be easily read.

Talen ran towards midnight, stumbling and coughing. "midnight!" he gasped. finally reaching him. "have you seen the others?" he was afraid, for he had not seen most of the pack. at the sight of pax being alright, he felt a little relief, that was one member safe.

Ato could see Talen Pax and another wolf but he was abviously and alpha, no doubt, he just had that alpha look the way he xarried himself, the way Pax and Talen look at him "Talen! Pax!" he choked out the smoke was bad he ran through it as fast as he could, but where was Sparrow?

Talen turned to the sound of ato's terrorfied voice. "ato!" he cried. talen looked very bad, his fur singed and his skin had been burned. he was trembling, his breath coming in rapid gasps.

Larka felt icy claws grip her heart. where was midnight and the others?! she waited for sparrow to answer, holding back tears, her eyes still filled with pain.

"oh thank god youre safe!" pax breathed a sigh of relief when she saw talen. Her ears still stung from when midnight cuffed her, but she was happy. "we need to get moving." she said. And before they started walking, Pax turned to talen and walked up til they were nose to nose. "I thought I'd lost you. I wouldn't survive this fire if you were dead." paxs lavender eyes burned into his green ones, "don't let me lose you." she put all her love for him into her words. The light of the flames turned her fur to a liquid gold and the rest of the world disappeared around her. All there was were Talens eyes. Then, pax stepped away and looked at him again, "let's go, before we burn to death!"

puffs of air was coming from Ato's mouth as he tried to breathe, the flashbacks came now, the fire blazing, his family runing and runing to no hope, why? why was he the only one left? why?! Because you are the lucky one sweety, dont worry were all with you, well help your new friends, well help your new pack. the voice was a safe feeling, it always helpped him when he need it, now he needed to help the others "Wheres everyone else? We need to find them, now!"

Talen stood, staring back at her for a moment. why was she so worried only about him? he gulped, frozen to the spot. he was terrorfied. where were the others?! he nudged ato forward. "come on!" he croaked. "we...we... have to get out of the smoke!" talen's vision was bluring.

Larka waited....her ears pricked, waiting, wanting to hear midnight's voice.... please... she thought. please be ok! a single tear rolled down her cheek, she did nothing to stop it...

Somber found his way to Larka. "I can carry her if need be," he said, gesturing to Sparrow. He wasn't badly burned, just his paw pads and some scrapes and burns along his belly.

whoa was all that first came to mind when ato saw pax and talen, then he realized what talen didnt, she loves him, he knew the look, he once had something like that but she was long gone but she was with his family now "guys if we run and yell for everyone maybe theyll hear us and follow our voices and we can all make it out off here together!
