Talen smiled, like always. "that would be wonderful!" his heart skipped a beat, he would learn to hunt down caribou, deer, maybe even moose! it was all too exciting for him then he felt a sudden, sharp pain in his paw. he growled angerly, he had stepped on a thorn. great.... he thought. he skidded to a halt and briefly plucked the sharp object from the pad. blood welled up out of it and he growled in annoyance, shaking the paw before taking off after sparrow again, eager to catch up. his pad hurt, but he WOULD NOT show it.

"You okay?" Sparrow asked, slowing her pace slightly as she looked over at Talen with concern. Her green eyes studied his face for a few seconds, worried.
