Talen glanced back, he had scented falcon, he growled irritably and dodged into a small tunnal in the ground, covered by ferns.he dragged sage through it, creeping into a wider cavern.he slunk through the darkness, towards viper's quarters.he grinned down at sage."you, are about to meet an extremely important being."he growled."behave youself wont you?"he started laughing.

Talen was growing angry and annoyed with these wolves, following him would not do any good.he lengthened his powerful stride and went faster, though he wasn't running his fastest yet.he was almost there, about three quarters of the way.his claws dug into the ground and he leaped through the deep snow.normally he would turn and fight, but that risked them taking sage from him.he would not let that happen.

Larka frowned and looked down at the blood, angry.she looked back up to see a black and white she wolf coming near them, she grinned."nice to see you again, stranger."she greeted, waiting for the she wolf's reply and possibly shock.she had seen this wolf in the shadows a few nights past.she looked at storm after a moment and sighed."we need to go back."she whispered."the time has not yet come for the battle that lurks in all of our futures."she sighed wincing slightly."he will not kill sage, only when she is of no more use to viper."larka's eyes narrowed."and that wont happen until sparrow is dead, though, she will not die, she will be triumphant." larka sighed, her eyes seeming to be far away."we must await her return, only then can we attack the shadow-walker pack and bring down talen."she looked back at storm.

Storm looked at the ground..."But if they can't catch Sparrow and kill her they will kill sage because she is of no use but she would know where Viper's cave is. You guys can do planning but Larka if that was Midnight you would feel exactly like i do and if that was you no one would be able to stop him." Storm said before turning and trotting away.

Larka walked forward swiftly, cutting him off.her eyes were gleaming, sadness heavy in them."storm.sage is like family to me.i am as worried for her as you, alright?"her eyes narrowed."i would risk my life for her, but not the whole pack's.i would gladly go alone, but viper knows sparrow is alive, sparrow will come.sage is still of use to them and she is strong, death is not for her, not yet."she shook her head."we will rescue her storm, we will get her back, or i will die trying."

"You are a major part of the pack...Your the Alpha's mate...I'm just a healer...Anyone can do my job so i won't put the pack at risk....And I'm ready to die if that's what i have to do. I won't put everyone at risk..Because if they get Sparrow Everything will be gone...I've seen it." Storm said walking around Larka.

Larka's eyes were cold."i may be an alpha, but i am of no use to the world."she replied as storm walked away."you would all be better off if i were dead."she limped away, disappearing into the shadows, leaving storm to wonder about her words.she lay down in the shade of a pine tree, her eyes g;azed over with pain.sage.....its my fault your gone....
