"midnight!" larka snapped in the howl."please... stop. you need to be strong for the others. your an alpha remember?" there was a hint of humor in her voice."besides, you know what i have already been through... i can handle it..." but larka was determined. she would indeed give her life if it came to it for her packmates.

Midnight bowed his head. "Very well." He howled back. "Please, hurry to reach me." He added in his howl. "Farwell!" The last word carried mournfully across the sky.

Larka nodded, holding back tears."farewell my friend!" she sighed and turned away, limping back to where storm lay.

Talen whined, he was incredibly worried for storm.

all Ato could do now was wimper, so thats what he did, he wimpered and whipered for Storm. he hated seeing his friend in so much pain that it hurt him, but no where near how much storm was hurting. "Its ok STorm, your going ot be just fine" he said over and over to Storm

Lucinda tilted her head to the sky and howled, long and reedy, to midnight: "Alpha Midnight, I am Luce. I'm a friend. I'm with your mate, but will leave if you have need of medical assistance."

Midnight frowned, listening to Luce's voice. "No." He howled back. "I'll be fine." He added, turning to pad back into the cave.

Sparrow was awake once again, staring out into the darkening sky. The moon was rising.

Heiro soon arrived with Kira to Midnight. He sighed with relief that they had actually caught up with the pack. Well, half of it anyway. "Midnight," he said, bowing his head slightly in the alpha's presence. Kira had done the same. "We're thankful to have found you again. We had been separated from you for so long, I thought that we were doomed to die out there."
