Sage licked Storm's face, hope shinning in her eyes. "Please, Please." She begged. Her tannish brown fur fell across of her blue eyes, but she blew it out. She only had eyes for Storm.

Sage whinned with distress, wanting Desperatly for her lover to make it.

Sparrow whimpered in her unconious state, pain flashing through her, it seemed, every second.

Midnight watched with sadness over the young she-wolf. Why her? He had wondered sorrowfully, spotting her marks. If he could've taken the wieght of the prochecy, he would've. But Sparrow didn't do anything to be thrown into the danger, and the pain of being marked.

Recap:

Larka discovered that there are demons lurking just beyond the Valley, and only the valley has saved them from being invaded and killed. There was an absolutely terrible fire that destroyed the valley, and forced Night pack to leave. Midnight and Larka were split up and half the pack is with each. Pax was killed, A new wolf appeared, and helped Talen, who had a bullet lodged in his shoulder. Sparrow is really really badly injured, and is the wolf in the prochey. Midnight is in a cave with a few wolves, and Larka is on the other side of the valley, outside of it. It's getting dark, and the demons are about to come out.

"Heiro, I'm scared," Kira whimpered softly as she followed after her brother. She caught up to his side, pressing herself against his side for some comfort.

"I know," Heiro muttered as he continued onward, following his nose to find either pack half. It was just their luck to get separated. He sighed quietly, trying to hide his worry too. Who knows what happens to stragglers of a pack. It seemed as though they were doomed to die.

Midnight limped to the front of the cave, letting out a mournful howl. He was devestated. His mate was lost, most of his pack was lost, and Sparrow had been marked, which would probably ruin her life. The sound drifted across the sky, carring on the breeze.

Sparrow's ears twitched, catching the sound of Midnight's sorrowful howl, even when she was unconious, she still heard his sad sound.

Larka's eyes widened and she went ridgid. for she had heard the howl faintly on the breeze.midnight? her heart started thundering in her chest and her ears strained forward. she wasn't exactly sure where it was coming from, but she was pretty sure it was north from here. trotting forward, she stopped and howled as well.she wasn't even sure if she had heard a howl, or if her mind had been tricking her. though she had to try. her howl was full of sadness and pain. she sang her feelings to the air, holding back tears.
