The clan felt so faint now, it was obvious they were in their own paws now. Debating the life of a loner at this point, the tom returns to the quiet camp with a robin in his jaws and drops into what once was a pile. Sighing, he wonders if the leader would ever show their face again. Probably not, it'd been moons now or so it felt.

Embersoul pads out of the forest her eyes searching the camp.Most of the cats have either left or green-cough has taken them.She lashes her tail angrily,most of those who remain are too weak or lazy to do anything.The leaders seem to have abandoned them,saying they were going to speak with Starclan only to disappear.Embersoul's eyes flashed,"I'm not staying here to die!"she thought,her pelt bristeling.
"If anyone wants to leave with me they should speak out now!"she calls,her voice echoing from the walls of the camp.Some cats stir,others too sick to move close their eyes and groan.No cat wants to lose another clan member,but if they didn't every cat would die.Prey was scarce and the sickness was spreading.Those who didn't leave probably wouldn't survive leaf-bare.

He sighs again heavily, watching Hazelfoot and Thunderhaze struggle together. "What can we? Leaving is certain death with no place to go." The clan was already lifeless, Iceheart of course was the only one he considered looking for but that didn't change the fact the clan would die. Not only that, but he didn't agree with 'Emberstar' happening.

Embersoul watched Shadowheart deal with his thoughts."Im not saying follow me."she says,"Im saying there is strength in numbers.We are safer together but not here.Besides I know someone who can help us."she looks around at the uncertain cats,"Whose with me?"she asks looking each cat in the eye,"Who doesn't want to rot here while we wait for a message from starclan that will never come?Who wants to watch their clanmates die?Who wants to face the same fate the others have faced?"
