Ivyvine was slightly taken aback by her leader's sharp words. "That was exactly what we were going to ask you about," She replied firmly. "Patrols. I can see that you are already tending to it." Flicking her tail, she turned around, tail barely missing Tallstar's muzzle as it whipped. She looked at Kestrelflight and leaned over to whisper in the she-cat's ear. "Isn't Tallstar such a grump sometimes?' She joked, in a barely audible tone - directed to only Kestrelflight's ears.

Kestrelflight had followed Ivyvine, her quick pawsteps carrying her across the camp to Tallstar. She stood beside her clan-mate, olive eyes gazing expectantly at the tom while Ivyvine announced their presence. She was slightly stunned by Tallstar's answer, eyes flicking over to Ivyvine for a brief moment with an expression unreadable to Tallstar. After Ivyvine's retort, she gave her leader a polite nod before turning to follow. Kestrelflight had to suppress a chuckle as the blue-eyed she-cat muttered something in her ear. The tabby-patched fae found the comment humorous because to her it seemed like Tallstar was grumpy all the time.

History ➳ He was born in a clan. His father was extremely cruel and when he saw his kit, he noticed he looked nothing like his father and was the runt of the litter. In the middle of the night, he secretly left him out far in the forest. A loner found him in a koi pond, and decided to take care of him. She named him Koi because of this.
Koi grew, but with a harsh temper. He was taught to care for others yet he had to take care of himself. Soon, he heard about Rainclan, where there were cats like him..

"She's been following the grump around a lot. I mean, he's an honorable cat and leader - but I can't see him as anything else." The brown tabby took one last glance at Tallstar, his tall ears alert. "Well, some mysteries are a mystery," She whispered back into Kestreflight's ear, turning her head around.
