Lightningtail flicked an ear, hearing a feminine voice from behind. He calmly spun around to face the lovely silver she-cat, a small smirk forming on his face. "Hello Streamtail. I'm doing fine... Even better now that I'm talking to a beautiful she-cat." He purred, sitting down and wrapping his tail along his paws. Of course, he usually said this to most she-cats- flirting was his specialty after all. The tom snapped himself out of his mental boasting, his gaze flickering back to Streamtail. "Now tell me, how are you doing this fine morning?" Okay, 'fine morning' was a lie, with the humidity clinging to everyone like a tarsier to a tree and the rain coming down heavily.

The small grey she-cat's ears shot straight up as soon as she noticed her mentor. She nervously sucked a breath in, silently hoping that he hadn't been sitting there for too long. She quickly slinked over to him, smiling shyly. "Hi Gingerroot, uh... What are we going to do today?" She glanced over her shoulder at the rain, falling heavier than it normally does. Her gaze returned to Gingerroot, chills running along her body. It wasn't too long ago that she was a kit living comfortably in the nursery, now, she was training to live the challenging role of a warrior. Every day she told herself the work and pain would be worth it, but was it really?

Nightfrost slowly raised her head, her weary amber eyes sliding around the room where the medicine den lay. The air was sticky, and outside the distinct hiss and drip of rainfall. The she-cat rose to her paws, doing her usual stretches and brief grooming of her thin pelt before exiting the room, making her way to the center of camp. She could hear the sounds of her clanmates stirring, and it was near time where Rabbitfur would come out and announce the patrols. She glanced over her shoulder at the medicine room. It was well-stocked, with little need for gathering new supplies. Today would be a relaxed day, perhaps she could just teach Mistpaw some identifying skills.
Her stomach rumbled noisily, and soon she realized why. She hadn't eaten all day yesterday, as she was too busy sorting through all of the herbs. First, she picked up a plump fruit bat, it's sweet-tasting blood oozing into her mouth. She carried it over to the nursery room, keeping her pawsteps careful and light so that the inhabitants were not disturbed. She set the prey down on a dry area in the room for the single queen to eat later, then she exited the den to get herself a meal. She picked up a nice-sized mouse for herself, and sat in the back of the camp to eat in peace.

Jaguarleap had been awake since early this morning, but he decided to just relax quietly in his nest. It was only when he took note of his clanmates beginning to stir did he finally get up and begin his day. In the center of camp, he began to groom his pelt down and stretched out any sore muscles. So far he only saw Nightfrost up, and watched as she took a fruit bat to the nursery. The spotted tom gaped his jaws wide open in a yawn, blinking away the sleep in his eyes. It was important that he was awake for today's lesson with Drizzlepaw- he had to teach him how to swim. It seemed so far that he was the only apprentice who didn't really know how to do so.
The tom kept an eye out for his apprentice, but realized he would have to wait for patrols to be announced before he could take him out for training. Perhaps if they went out on the hunting patrol, he could try to teach him how to fish. Fishing was always a start.
