Padding out of the Warriors' den, Dustclaw paused to stretch out. "Good morning, StarClan," he murmured to himself with a smile.

Rosestar was dozing in her den.Half awake,she got up and looked at Dustclaw stretching.She looked at him and nodded a greeting.

Rosestar woke up entirely after he purred.She smiled and said,"Want to go hunting?" She yawned and stretched.

Crow woke up,curled in her basket.The Twolegs had left her the slimy food again.She growled softly and pushed out of the small door.She went to the meeting place and took a mouse from the pile of mice,birds and other small prey hunted by her loyal followers.

"Sure," he meowed, getting up. "After I can train the apprentices practice my fighting moves - I forgot to tell you I caught a whiff of fox yesterday."

Rosestar's eyes widened a bit in surprise but she nodded.She meowed,"Was it stale? Or was it fresh? Was it from a few days ago?"

Crow licked her whiskers contentedly after eating a plump mouse.She went out of the nest,walked to the fence that seperated the forest from the city.She looked at the lush green grass.Suddenly her mind jumped to her kits.Her eyes clouded over and were teary.
