Firetail got up finishing her prey and walked over to Phoenixstar. "Who is gonna be heading out for the hunting patrol today?"

Willowfeather paced by the fresh kill pile, not knowing if she was hungry or not. She paced one fox-length to the left and one fox-length to the right. She looked over to see Spottedkit and Bagerkit playing around with each other outside the nursery. She stopped at held back a sigh. Sitting down, her thick banner flicked impatiently behind her. She closed her eyes and started to daydream. She flinched as she daydreamed, wanting to snap into reality. She opened her oculars and couldn't hold back the wanting of a chaffinch. Willowfeather grabbed the bird and walked over to the den they called the 'nursery'. Setting the chaffinch down, she started eating to small bird. It was old, and stringy; but it would have to do if she were going back into the nursery for the next 2 weeks. She looked at her paws nervously, then let out a small growl of pain. The chaffinch was not the best idea. Why had she chosen the chaffinch over a tender vole? She didn't know, just the kits were due next week, yet she was in pain. "What's wrong with me?" She yowled, then glared at the ground as the pain slowly faded away.

Pebblepaw stretched his way out of the apprentices' den, walking while he stretched. He let out a long, deep, and sleepily yawn. He tilted his cranium and watched as Swiftpaw grabbed her share of prey, Pebblepaw did the same; grabbing a small mouse to quench his hunger. He padded over to Swiftpaw and sat down, letting his fluffy banner sway behind his hind legs. "Hey, Swiftpaw." he purred, taking a bite of the grey field mouse he got for his share of fresh kill."How's it going?"

Tigerstorm walked out of the den blinking until her eyes adjust to the light. Walking over to the fresh kill pile she selects a bird and lays down beside Swiftpaw and begins eating.

Windbreeze hears his sister leave,he stretches and inspects his gray pelt.He then walks out of the den. He sees Leopardspark and his heart starts beating faster,but he doesn't go near her.He is afraid that she would see right through him.

Shadowwing has been awake for a while.He finally decides to get up.He walks over to the kill pile and picks up a fish.He walks over to Windbreeze,"Do you want to share?" he asks."Sure,"Windbreeze responds,breaking his gaze from Leopardspark.

Swiftpaw looked at Pebblepaw and smiled. "Hey pebblepaw, I'm doing fine. How are you doing on this fine morning?" She saw Tigerstorm and smiled, "Morning Tigerstorm." She looked back at Pebblepaw waiting for his answer.

Her long tassel flicked as she deeply inhaled the breath, Trying to keep her class."Hmph... Quite warm here.."Petal lifted up one of her paws as she cleaned it and drew it behind her ear.

His long banner dragged onto the floor as he walked to the fresh-kill picking up a vole and sitting down in a patch of shades.

Pebblepaw swallowed the bite of Mouse, "I'm doing good." he meowed, then looked at Tigerstorm. "Hello, Tigerstorm." a purr rumbled in the apprentice's throat. He took another bite and looked around, watching everyone talking or grooming. "I wonder what there's to do today." he meowed randomly, lifting his head towards the sky.

Swiftpaw smiled and thought, "Their are many things we could do but a lot aren't fun." She looked at the bright blue sky and loved the soft breeze. She closed her eyes and felt the wind in her fur.
