fernpaw shrugged. "i feel safer around you. i think you're stronger, especially against those stupid blazeclan fox-hearts." fernpaw said, wrinkling her nose as she hissed out the word blazeclan.

ivywing was struggling to catch a stray salmon, eventually letting it get away. she was satisfied with her larger fish, anyways. she curled her tail over her paws, letting the sun warm her and dry her.

She yawned, opening her eyes as she woke from a little nap. She stretched, and spotted the cats talking in the clearing. She frowned slightly, spotting SunStorm. She leaped off the rock and trotted towards him "Hello, SunStorm!" She purred, smiling.

She chuckled. "Thank you." She purred, and stood. "Don't say that to his face though." She added jokingly. Though she seemed mean, Littlepaw loved her adopted clanmates. She did miss her mother though, wishing she was with her know. "Fernpaw. Do you remember your mom?" She asked out of the blue, her eyes almost as dreamy as Redpaw's.

After coming up, he went back down. Swimming after a koi fish, he almost missed but bit it and took the fish back to the surface. Dropping the fish, he purred in triumph.

fernpaw purred and smiled, but when littlepaw asked about her mother, fernpaw's face seemed to freeze over in a state of cold nostalgia. "y-yes i do..." she said softly, a dark haze consuming her voice.

ivywing purred. "good job! you're a really great hunter." she said, smiling softly.

sunstorm looked over to see snowstorm. "good afternoon, snowstorm." the handsome golden tabby tom said with a purr.

Noticing her discomfort, she froze herself. "Sorry...! You don't have to tell me." She mewed hastily, her gaze softening, her voice sort of frantic.

Rushheart--tags: Ivywing
"Haha, thanks! Your not so bad yourself." He mewed, a smile on his face. Jumping out of the water, and pacing a little ways away, Rushheart shook the water from his pelt. It stood fluffed out afterwards, making himself look like a newborn kit.

She purred, and sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. She watched the other cats, and snorted "What do you think their talking about? Romance problems?" She meowed quietly. She had noticed the way PurpleFlower looked at SandStar, and the way VixenLeap looked at PurpleFlower when she looked at SandStar in that way. She was a very observant cat, and tended to notice her clan mates expressions quiet a lot.

sunstorm chuckled, pointing to purpleflower with his tail. "no, but i know exactly what she's doing. purpleflower's trying to win sandstar over, and i can see it in vixenleap's eyes that it troubles her."

fernpaw sighed softly. "no, it's alright... i'm too sensitive anyways. come on, we need to get those herbs before nightfall."

She nodded, and padded silently towards the entrance. "What do we need?" She asked, tail flicking contently.

fernpaw padded outside, waiting a heartbeat as she remembered the herbs. "chamomile, horsetail, feverfew, cobwebs, burdock root, blackberry leaves, rosermary, and some bindweed... we'll need beech leaves too, to carry everything in." fernpaw meowed.

She rolled her eyes "Obviously. Its like a battle. They are battling over who is to win SandStar's heart" She meowed, her whiskers twitching with amusement. It amazed her that she could contain herself, unlike VixenLeap and PurpleFlower.
