Purpleflower nods and quickly rushes into the territory. She spots some moss on a tree stump and grabs it gently so it doesnt rip. She carries it to the closest stream and dips it in to get it wet. After that is done, she runs back to Vixenleap and gives it to her. "Here." she said. "This moss will give you water. I will be here to help you."

sorrelcloud turned to purpleflower as she brought the soaked moss that she had asked. the calico she-cat grabbed the moss gently between her teeth, and carried over vixenleap's muzzle. a few drops of water dripped down so she could drink. she set the moss aside, and turned to purpleflower. "thanks for your help purpleflower, but now i need you to wait outside." sorrelcloud turned to fernpaw, and she waited patiently. after a long hour, the first kit arrived. the medicine cat allowed fernpaw to help it over vixenleap. "fernpaw, quickly! lick the kit the opposite way it's fur is going to help it breathe!"

fernpaw nodded, obeying her mentor. she brought the second kitten to life and set it next to vixenleap's stomach. "purpleflower, leave! you're going to upset her!" fernpaw hissed softly, clearly stressed.
